"Ethan, what's going on?" I stepped back from him, fear washed over his face,
"Ethan, you're starting to scare me, what's wrong? Why are you lying to me?" I asked in fear of the answer,
"Marie I have something to tell you, don't get mad at me. I was going to tell you when the time was right I promise." doubt filled that sentence as it left his lips,
"Okay go for it, tell me dammit" I demanded,
"Let's go sit down first-" he tried to grab my hand, I pulled away from him,
"No, Ethan Jonah you are scaring me tell me right now what is going on" I demanded firmly,
"Okay well remember at the beginning of the year I told you I was failing?-" he asked, I nodded in reply, he took both of my hands into his pulling me closer,
"Well I haven't pulled up my grades and I'm graduating only because the day after graduation I'm going to boot camp. I joined the air force" my whole world just froze, he is leaving me?! I looked down slowly at my hands that were tightly grasped my his still, my big diamond ring stuck out the top,
"Is that why you want to get married do fast? When were you planning on telling me this?! Ethan I really can't believe you, that's why your mum is so mad. You've been seeing a recruiter behind my back? What the hell Ethan? You're really going to pick up and leave me for four months for boot camp?!" I yelled, tears streaming down both of our faces,
"I don't want to leave you baby, believe me I don't. This is my only choice, if there was another way I would take it. I'll go to boot camp for four months and where ever I'm stationed after that we will move and since we will be married you can come with me. I was going to tell you, I am just as scared as you are believe me." he assured me, he pulled me into him and wrapped me up in his arms. I cried and cried into his hoodie sleeve,
"Ethan please don't leave me" I bawled into him, hoping there is some way he will change his mind,
"Baby look up at me" he tried to pull me off, I held on tighter,
"Look at me, Marie" I pushed away, he wrapped his hands around my face, cupping it. He looked down into my eyes I had no choice to look up into his,
"I'll only he gone for four months, I'm not leaving for another few weeks. Tomorrow we are getting married" the last part he kinda mumbled to himself,
"What?" I asked in disbelief,
"That movie you love but I won't ever watch it with you because you drool over the main character, the vow! The wedding part, we will do that, we will find the best spot in town and my friend Matt can legally do weddings. If we had a real wedding my mum wouldn't come, my dad left us when I was young so none of the family on my side would come. Your mum can't because of your step dad being sick, and I don't care about our friends. We can just have Matt, Jack, and Alice!" he squealed in excitement,
"Ethan, tomorrow?! Are you insane?"
"No, I just love you"
"Can we pull this off?"
"It's us baby, of course we can!"
I rolled my eyes at his comment, he pulled me in for a long, deep kiss. Can we really do this?
