I've been told many times that I'm not good enough for a guy like Ethan; he always tells me that it's the other way around. Before Ethan I wasn't popular, I wasn't considered pretty, I wasn't the person all the girls wanted to be. When we started dating I was invited to all the parties, asked to go shopping with the popular girls all the time, and all the guys would hit on me. That was never really my scene; I would rather be in my fuzzy pajamas and watch a movie with my boyfriend then be at a party where people are acting like idiots. Ethan used to be the party kinda guy, when we first started dating freshman year he would always go out and party. He didn't stop until the beginning of our junior year when he came home one night and yelled at me. I left him for a while; he didn't even remember what had happened that night. He came stumbling in the door; I was in the kitchen making him some late dinner. He told me he met some girl at the party, I yelled at him and asked him why but he just yelled louder than me. He said he was going to leave me, I said he didn't need to I was already gone. We were separated for about three months, he said he had stopped the partying just for me,
"Earth to Marie, she needs your credit card to buy the dress," Alice said snapping her fingers in front of my face, I zoned out,
"Oh here, sorry," I embarrassedly passed her my card, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw a text from 'boyfriend<3',
'Hi sweetheart, me and some friends are gonna go out for a little bit...I won't get in trouble or anything, it's just a bachelors party kinda thing. I love you babe, you can stay over tonight if you want I don't think I'll be home till around 3,' the memories of him yelling at me and him drinking flooded back to mind, this isn't going to be good,
'Okay darling, I'm trusting you...I'm just going to stay at my place tonight, I need to get some things ready for the wedding tomorrow and get all of my stuff packed up to move in tomorrow. I love you too, stay safe baby<3' I clicked off my phone, I really hope he will be smarter now that he is older. Since we live in England he is legally allowed to drink, but I still don't like it,
"Ethan is going out tonight with some friends, I'll be staying at home tonight" I told Alice as I showed her the text from Ethan, her eyes I swear got one thousand times bigger,
"You trust him this time?" she asked with doubt,
"All I can do it trust him,” I trailed off, I just need to trust he will make the right decision. He knows how much he as to loose, he won’t do anything stupid, right?
