Since Ethan had the bright idea for us to get married tomorrow I rung Alice and she met me at the closest dress store. I don't care if I have to wear a prom dress, I just need something to say my vows in tomorrow.
"Alice, should I wear this one or this one?" I said with a smile from ear to ear, it was almost 10:30pm and the store was closing soon. I had a short, white, strapless, cupcake looking dress. The other was a short, tighter, white, strapless dress,
"I like the one that looks like a cupcake!" Alice added, she was busy trying to find a dress for herself,
"Hello ladies my name Scarlett, what can I help you with tonight? You ladies are aware we are closing soon?" the sales clerk asked as she glided across the room,
"Hi, I'm Marie. Yes we are very much so aware, well we have a dilemma" I smiled, "I am getting married short notice, as in tomorrow, and I need a dress!"
"Hello Marie!" she beamed, "I would absolutely love to help you out! why don't you tell me a little about you and your fiancé" she said as she took a seat on the couch next to me,
"Well we are both 19, I've known him since I was around 13 or 14 I think, I love him with all my heart and can't wait to marry him; oh did I mention the wedding is tomorrow"
"Tomorrow? Well let's see what dresses we can find!"
"Thank you so much!" I said as she walked away with a big smile on her face, she came back shortly after with a few dresses in hand. One was a the cupcake style dress I tried on earlier, the others were longer, and a couple short ones,
"My favorite is the cupcake styled one, but I love this long one" I commented to myself as Scarlett tightened the back of my dress,
"I vote the cupcake style on you, save the long dress for the actual wedding! but you know it's totally up to you" she smiled as she finished the tie,
"This one for sure!" I told Alice as I walked out of the dressing room,
"For sure!" She screeched as she took pictures, I heard my phone going off, 'As long as you love me'
"Hey babe"
"Hey where are you?" I heard him ask from the other end of the phone kinda worried,
"Picking out wedding dresses why? What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just couldn't find you anywhere and I got worried"
"Awe, I'm fine love, don't worry" I assured him,
"Okay, good well text me when you're on your way home, I love you so much"
"I love you too sweetheart, see you later, bye" I heard Alice awe after I hung up the phone,
"What? We aren't that cute Alice" I hate being the center of attention; I don't like to kiss him in public or hug him for too long. I always feel so awkward and out of place, I feel like people watch me and it feels so weird.
