Audra's P.O.V.

"Wake up Audra!" Grayson yells while knocking quite loudly against my door. I groan, knowing that I didn't get enough sleep and wondering if I could possibly stay in bed a little longer for extra sleep. I felt like the walking dead and for some reason could not get a wink of sleep until around four in the morning, and even that seemed to be pushing it.

"Go away!" I groaned while burying my face into my pillow. I really didn't feel like getting up and I know that Grayson had school today, it was already Thursday and then he would be off the weekend until Monday.

"But I need help with calculus and university physics!" I groaned while wanting to kill Grayson. I didn't understand why he couldn't get some friends from his class to help him instead of always asking me for help with his classes.

"Grayson, go ask yours friends for help," I mumbled while wrapping the blankets around me even tighter.

"But Audra!" Grayson whined, "you explain it much better than everyone else." I lifted my head up and wanted to scream at him when I saw the sun barely rising. It had to be around six in the morning and that meant only two hours of sleep. I really wanted to bang my head against the wall because as soon as my head was up, my eyelids didn't feel so heavy.

"Give me it," I mumbled while snatching his notebooks, one for university physics and the other for calculus. I helped him for about an hour and a half before Grayson had to leave for school.

I rubbed my eyes while wondering how the hell Grayson couldn't figure out either subject. I could easily look at the problem and understand it with a snap of my fingers.

I walked over and closed the blinds while thinking that maybe I had gone to school somewhere and already taken it. That's the only explanation that the three of us could have.

I smiled while noticing my room was just a bit darker. I plopped down onto my bed and buried myself underneath the covers while resting my head on my pillow, trying to lull myself back to sleep.

"Audra!" I heard someone calling my name. I lifted my head up to notice that it was a lot brighter in my room and that someone was knocking on my door.

I rubbed my eyes while opening the door to see Mr. Palmer standing there. I yawned while he laughed at me.

"You're lucky today is your day off, it's already four in the afternoon," Henry said before walking away. I ran my hands through my hair while walking over to my closet to get normal clothes on.

I faintly heard Mr. Palmer yelling something to me, but I couldn't fully understand what he said.

"What?!" I yelled while pausing what I was doing. I had my arms up in the air and my head barely through my long sleeve shirt.

"Are you waiting for Grayson to get home before you go grocery shopping?!" Mr. Palmer yelled back. My eyes widened and I finished putting my shirt on while jumping in my jeans and hopping on one foot to get both of my boots on.

"I can run to the store now," I said while running down the stairs throwing on my green jacket and grabbing the house and car keys.

"I'll be back!" I yelled while running out the door. I didn't hear what Mr. Palmer yelled before I was already out the door and running into the car. I blasted the heat while zipping up my jacket all the way and driving to the grocery store that was fifteen minutes away.

The town that I lived in was small and everyone knows everyone, but where Henry and Grayson live was far away from everyone else in the town. All the main shopping buildings and stores were at least a fifteen to twenty minute drive away. I shivered in the car and almost didn't want to leave when I finally pulled up to the store.
