Audra's P.O.V.

Dad slept in the following morning and said he had to go run some errands and that Grayson would be running the café for today. I went in early with Grayson to help him out and was grateful that it was just busy enough where I could keep my mind off that nightmare.

"I love you sis," Grayson said while kissing my head. It was right after breakfast and the cafe was starting to slow down a bit. I noticed that an older gentleman had a newspaper and there was a big headliner on front. The title read "Vicious Animal Attacks Continue".

I pulled on Grayson's arm and whispered, "Grayson, look at that man's newspaper." Before he could take a look, Anthony slammed his hand on Grayson's back.

"What's up?" he asked while Grayson was looking at the newspaper while making sure that the guy didn't notice he was also staring. Anthony noticed and took a look in the same direction that Grayson was looking in.

"Oh the animal attack? Yea, this one was pretty close to here and was even more vicious than the one yesterday. They couldn't even recognize the face after the animal tore it apart from the shoulders up," Anthony explained while I got a chill down my back.

At that moment someone walked into the café, but he was a little strange. He had some sort of vibe around him that said to leave him alone. I squinted my eyes until I finally recognized where I had seen this man before.

This was the same man that was drunk and had bumped into me two nights ago before the first animal attack started. He seemed to be in a pissed off mood, but I had no idea why and didn't want to know why either.

"Want me to take care of him?" I questioned, more so to myself since the boys were discussing the other animal attack that took place last night.

I rolled my eyes while grabbing my notepad and walking over to the table he was sitting at by himself. Maybe he was waiting for someone, or maybe he was just getting out of the pub now since he was there when we first bumped into each other.

"Hello, my name is Audra and how can I help you today?" I said in a nice voice. He was looking over the menu quickly, trying to come up with a decision of what he wanted.

"I would like black coffee, no cream or sugar, and an order of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon," he said while handing me the menu after I wrote everything down.

"How would you like your eggs?" I asked.

"Scrambled," he answered while rubbing his eyes. Well he didn't sound drunk and seemed to be pretty ok, the guy just seemed to be really tired.

I nodded my head before saying I would be right back with his coffee. Not many customers order black coffee, but when they do, you know they had a rough and long day. Grayson and Anthony finally stopped talking about the attack and started taking care of the few customers that were finishing up or just coming in.

I yawned before walking back out to the front with the guys coffee. He said a quiet thank you as I placed his coffee down and took his cup as I started to walk away. I rubbed my eyes after getting behind the doors, knowing that I would feel exhausted after staying up majority of the night after my lovely nightmare.

"Do you need to go home Audra?" Anthony questioned me while checking to see how tired I was. I covered my mouth with my hand while I was yawning before waving off that I was fine and I would work until my shift was over.

The day slowly flew by, it wasn't as busy as yesterday and I could only hope that dad had a good day off from work, he really needs one every once in a while. During my breaks I took little naps in the back, wanting to take a nice long rest but knowing that I had to set an alarm and get back to work.
