Audra's P.O.V.

"Morning, did you sleep ok?" Anthony asked while I was yawning and stretching my body out like a cat. I was so tired and just wanted to flop back on a pillow. I sadly couldn't do that since Anthony picked me up and brought me down stairs where my brother was making breakfast and my dad had turned on the TV to hear the announcement of the new curfew that was being set on the town until this whole animal attack was over.

"No one is allowed out of their houses or out on the streets after sundown. People are strongly encouraged to be in their homes by six o'clock and no later. If there is an emergency our fire fighters and police officers will be there, but only if there is an emergency," the major stated. I zoned out the rest of whatever was going on as I grabbed my pancakes and poured mape syrup on them.

"We should open a little later dad. Only as an extra precaution," Grayson suggested. I was enjoying my pancakes when I remembered about the necklace from the dream. I really didn't want to believe that all these things were real, but I've also seen a ghost in my dream too before I started seeing Hazel. Hazel seems to be the main target, but why am I the only one that can communicate with her? How come she doesn't even know where she is?

"Once we're done breakfast we will all head down to the café and put up a new sign for the new store hours," dad stated. I nodded my head, a mouth full of pancakes while Grayson and Anthony ate very little. Was I stress eating again? I could possibly be since I feel like the main target due to Hazel somehow being connected to me.

Once breakfast was done we all headed upstairs to change and get ready for work. I noticed the necklace on my dresser and decided to grab it and wear it. Next time I see that woman I will have to question her. If the legend Hazel knows is connected with this old lady, then I'm really screwed with everything.

The lady can't be a hundred years old though. Could it possibly be her mothers or grandmothers? She could be the family that disappeared and no one ever heard from.

"Audra! You ready to go!?" Grayson called while knocking me out of my daydream.

"Coming!" I yelled back. I quickly rushed downstairs and dad drove us down the road towards the café. Some people were slowly walking by, waiting for us to open since we opened a few hours later than normal.

"Little late?" someone questioned right by my ear. I almost froze until I recognized that it was just Ryan.

"Hey, yea, with the whole animal scare we're going to be opening later and closing earlier," I explained while customers already started making their way in after my father and brother. Anthony was hanging back with me while eyeing Ryan up and down.

"Wow, this town is serious about keeping everyone safe," he mumbled. I nodded a small yes before making my way into the café and quickly getting Ryan his coffee before serving other customers.

I kept my eye out for the old lady all day, not knowing if she was actually going to show up or if she had disappeared again. Ryan had only stayed for a little bit in the morning and said he had to take care of some business, but promised that he would be back later today.

I was washing dishes in the back while Grayson and Anthony were slowly taking care of the few customers that were actually in here. The day had gone by pretty fast with the rush of customers, but as time ticked by it slowly got more and more dead.

"Hello, is Audra here?" I heard a voice ask. I peeked through the circle window of the back doors before noticing that the old lady had asked for me. I took the gloves off and my hair net and calmly walked out from the back and towards the front.

"Hello, how can I help you ma'am?" I questioned while getting out a notepad, trying to act casual before I jump to any questions. I needed to gradually lead up to the questions I needed to ask her.
