Audra's P.O.V.

"Audra, table seven needs help," I heard one of the waiters call. I knew that it was one of the lazy workers, the one that left me by myself the other night and I was sick of working with him.

"Go help them," I said back while wiping down one of the other tables so someone else could use that table.

As soon as I noticed the customer start to get pissed at the waiter I walked over and went to see what was wrong. I sent the waiter to go on dish duty and he seemed to get even more pissed off, but I couldn't stand that he really didn't want to do his job.

I apologized and helped the customer and gave a free slice of cake as an apology for what had happened with the waiter. He ended up mixing orders and charging the customer almost three times more than what she was actually suppose to pay.

As soon as I woke up this morning I tried to look up the name Hazel Coupe, but nothing in the search web would come up. Other than cars, normal people, and groups, but nothing about a girl with red hair that is good with like martial arts or weapons or anything like that. None of the people looked like the girl that I saw in my dream.

My mind has been occupied all day with thoughts of her. The state that she was in didn't seem good, wherever she is she must be in trouble, and now two people are trying to look for her. Day turned into night and I knew that I would end up closing again because that kid left.

There was only about an hour left until closing and I was by myself. I wasn't surprised and I didn't tell Grayson either or else he would flip out and make me shut down early. There was currently no one even in the cafe, so it didn't really bother me since I could get a lot of cleaning up done too.

I didn't see the normal people that I was use to seeing. We had all of our normal customers that live around here, but within the last six months we've had random people come in an out of the cafe that we have never even seen before. Not a single one of them was even in here today and I wasn't sure why.

I would have to ask Grayson if any of them have been coming in since I started my 'fever'. Whatever I had is also still not clear to me because of how my dream connected with my sudden fever that I had for two days. I didn't even know that I had a fever for two days, that seems like such a long time to be out for work.

I didn't tell Grayson or dad about the dream, but I planned to tell them tonight because I had a feeling that something wasn't right. A half hour left with my head still running with thoughts and I was suddenly getting chills up and down my back. I knew it wasn't cold due to the weather being so nice and warm but the building wasn't cold either.

"I'm slowly losing my mind," I mumbled to myself while sweeping the floor. If I swept slow enough then the time would go by for the next half hour and then I could walk home and not have to worry about anything.

I start to hum while sweeping and before I know it I'm doing twists and turns. Grayson learned that I never really watched any kid movies so about two years ago we had a movie marathon and I recall this one movie called Anastasia, she had no memory, lost and alone in the world, making it on her own, while also that evil guy, Rasputin, was after her.

"Someone holds me safe and war,
Horses prance through a silver storm,
Figures dancing gracefully.
Across my memory.
Far away, long ago.
Glowing dim as an ember.
Things my heart used to know.
Things it yearns to remember."

I didn't get to finish singing as the clock dinged, letting me know that it was time to close the store. I changed the sign from open to close before putting the broom away back in the storage closet. I threw on my jacket before grabbing the keys and making sure that I was the only one in the cafe.
