It was supposed to be Dad and Connor's day off today, so Dad dropped Connor and the twins off at home. He and I had some paperwork to fill out before getting to enjoy the day. I took the empty desk that sat across from Gavin's, which to my satisfaction remained empty. I observed his desk while I wrote up the report.
Turns out the meat sack actually had a family. There was a young picture of his family, framed on his desk. Gavin couldn't have been more than seven years old, his arm wrapped around a short man with gentle blue eyes, and long brown hair. The man was David Reed, Gavin and Elijah's father. He had the same facial structure as his father, and same brown hair. Otherwise, he didn't look too much like his father. His other arm was wrapped around young Kamski, who got much more of his father's looks. Even though he was young, Gavin had his trademark scar. I'll have to ask him about it, I decided.
There wasn't a single picture of Reed's mother, but there were a lot of photographs. Lots of scenic photographs, lighthouses, sunsets, lakes and such. They were all taken with a modern digital camera, but something about the nostalgia of the photos told me that the photographer wanted a vintage camera instead.
Photographer: Gavin Reed.
"Dad, Gavin's birthday is in three days, correct?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I would like to get him a present, as that is customary between humans."
"Whatever you want, kiddo."
CONNOR'S P.O.V.
I opened the door for Colin and Colton, and they marveled at Dad's house.
"It's not super nice," I said shyly
"It's nicer than anyplace we've been in the past year," Colton enthused, taking in the place. Colin immediately knelt down and buried his face in Sumo's fur. I chuckled gently.
"I do that a lot too." I scanned the androids. Despite being in ripped clothes and being extremely dirty, the androids were in fairly good shape biocomponent wise, only some minor damage that I could repair myself. "Let's get you guys cleaned up, then I can give you some of my clothes to wear until Dad can get you out shopping."
Colton and Colin took turns showering, cleaning off the events that traumatized them. After each brother showered, I took care of the damage, and talked to them about dogs. Both were very excited to be living in the same vicinity as a dog. I was as excited to be living with a dog as they were, and I had lived with Hank for more than a year.
"Alrighty, now that you guys are patched up, let's get you into some clothes." I guided my brothers to my room. They were only dressed in towels. I handed them each a pair of boxers and pants, but let them pick their shirts.
Colton picked a long sleeve white collared shirt, and a bright blue vest. "Huh, I forgot I had that in there," I smiled as he scooted away to change in another room. Colin shyly picked out a short sleeved black button up that I was sure I had stole from Conan.
"Nice choice!" I said, and moved out of my room so he could change.
"Where are we going to house them?" I asked myself, putting my fingers over my lips. I scanned the house. There was no room in our or Dad's room, and having them live in the living room, kitchen, or bathroom was not humane.
"Dad's office!" I exclaimed, snapping my fingers. Dad had an office that he barely used anymore. We could move his office into the basement, and put Colton and Colin in the old room. We'd have to clean out the basement. I rolled up my sleeves. The twins crept out of the rooms they were changing in, and stood before me, seemingly waiting for instructions. "I have a plan. Do you guys have E-stomachs like Nines and I?" They shook their heads yes. "I'll cook you guys some food, go ahead and make yourselves at home. Then, we have a bit of work to do." They nodded, and sat down politely on the couch.

RK900'S P.O.V.
After I finished my paperwork, Dad took a short break to drive me to the store that I would purchase Gavin's gift at. I also purchased a long sleeve shirt with lacy shoulders. Next, I walked to clothing store. I bought a few turtleneck sweaters, a couple button ups, and some black jeans that were much more comfortable than my stiff dress pants. I was surprised at the ease of which I was able to get my things and get home. Not a single person stopped to ask where my master was, or call me a "Dirty stinkin piece of plastic." I easily passed as human, even my emotionless, monotone voice didn't give me away. It felt kind of nice.
I briskly walked home. The house wasn't too far from the stores. I pushed the door open, and was mortified at the mess that awaited me. Colin and Colton were contiunously bringing boxes up from the basement. Connor was trying to tug Dad's giant desk through the slim doorway.
"Oh, you're home! Can you help me get this stuff out?" I sighed, and dropped my stuff off onto my bed. I rolled my shoulders, and got to work. The desk came apart in a few pieces that would go back together easily.
"So what's your plan?" I asked, crossing my hands over my chest.
"We're moving Dad's office to a section of the basement, and the twins into the old office room."
"Makes sense. Got them beds?" Connor's LED flashed yellow.
"Ordered, and to be delivered within the next five hours."
"Okay, let's sort through this stuff."
It took us a bit to sort through all of Dad's stuff. Most of it we kept, especially the things that used to be Cole's. We moved some of his things into Dad's room, and put the rest in smaller boxes. We moved the boxes back into the basement, more organized. I reassembled the desk, and put everything back on it.
The beds arrived shortly thereafter, and everyone was in low power mode. I had the most power left. The other androids were in standby, buried in the thick fur of our beloved Saint Bernard. I signed for the beds, and brought them into what would soon be the twins' room.
I quickly assembled the furniture, and put the sleeping android in their respective beds. Sumo jumped into bed next to Connor, smothering the boy.
I sat down on the old couch in the living room, resting for a minute. The silence was relaxing, but uneasy. The realization of what I had to do dawned on me. I slipped on my shoes, and left to go check on Detective Reed.
Heyoooo it's me, ya boi, Devo. I've been grounded, and I technically still am grounded. I have been able to be good (shocker) and get on Wattpad for a little bit. There won't be for another update for a while, please hold on. I see and love every single one of your comments, and I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond! But I digress. Sorry that these past few chapters haven't been as Reed900-ish. But I have provided cute domestic fluff for the Anderson household. For Reed900 content, these next chapters are going to go from like 0 to 75 real slowly. Anyway, that's all for now.
Devotely,
Devo
