"Well, your wish just came true."

"Really?!" Namimilog ang matang tanong ko sa kanya.

He shook his head while coming near me. He's holding his cellphone. Kakatapos lang niyang sagutin ang tawag sa kanya. I knew then that it was important. His phone is only for business. Ang boring kaya ng laman ng phone niya. No apps which are entertaining. Walang games na pwedeng paglibangan. Buti nga at may instagram pa siya. He have no facebook and twitter account, can you imagine?

Today might be my lucky day then! Yes, it's cancelled! I'm still not prepared because Soffia's already busy with work. I invited her to help me prepare for my outfit since I need a non-bias opinion. It really sucks being an only child, you know. At least if you have a sister you can ask for her opinion. But never mind, let's just leave everything on it's own.

Hindi naman ako masisisi ni Apollo na maghanda. Ayaw kong mapahiya siya sa pamilya niya. I would be hurt if they won't like me but surely Apollo would be hurting, too. I'm afraid of rejection. Who wouldn't be? It's just that I need to meet his family to make our relationship more open. So we can have their blessing.

I'm just hoping our dinner won't be real soon. I need some time, my gosh!

"Rexan vanished in thin air again. Aunt Mia just called." Napailing siya sa kasiyahan sa mukha ko.

Natigil ako sa pag-celebrate nang marinig ang sinabi niya. I think Mia is Rexan's mother. At si Rexan daw ang isa pa niyang pinsan bukod kay Senechov.

"Huh? What do you mean by that? Is he kidnapped or something?"

"No. It's just his hobby to go out of town or country without informing anyone." He explained while watching me chopped garlic. "And there's no way you can contact him whenever he does that."

I'm preparing our dinner since we barely have time together. It's Sunday but we haven't had our time because Soffia asked to meet me. Na-miss ko rin naman ang bruhang iyon. Kaya maghapon kaming nag-bonding na dalawa at sinundo na lang ako ni Apollo pauwi. He just can't take his eyes off me.

"What's this?" He asked.

He showed me one of the vegetables in the table.

"That's papaya." I said while rolling my eyes.

Well, what should I expect. Malamang hindi siya familiar doon. Pancit Canton nga hindi niya alam, eh.

I'm going to cook chicken tinola because he said he haven't tasted one.

"What if your cousin is in danger?" Balik ko sa usapan namin tungkol sa pinsan niyang ewan.

Siguro medyo nasa lahi na nila iyon. Look at Artemis, a brat.. Tapos iyong si Senechov at ang anak niyang cute pero ayaw sa mga babae. Then Apollo.. na tila Greek god ang imahe.. Napailing ako habang naiisip iyon. Nobody could really have it all, huh.

He took a sit at the stool in front of the kitchen counter then eyed every movement of mine like a hawk. It kinda made me feel uneasy. Ikaw ba naman pagmasdan ng ganyan ni Apollo! Gosh, nakaka-hyperventilate kaya!

"He's a skilled martial artist." He answered uninterested. "Enough with my cousin. I don't want you getting curious about some guy."

Napakagat-labi ako sa sinabi niya. My face turning red. Oh my! Apollo could really say some words that could melt my knees!

We had a marvelous dinner together. We enjoyed talking a lot of things and there's no dull moment between us. And whenever silence grow, it's a comfortable one.
