I was staring wide-eyed, mouth agaped in awe as he escorted me in through a large door. He didn't give me much time to go sightseeing. Agad niya akong iginiya papasok sa kanilang mansion.

"You'll have a lot of time to tour the villa next time. Let's visit during day time. I know you can't get away with the fact that your boyfriend's damn filthy rich."

He uttered while laughing his heart out.

Pinalo ko siya sa braso habang natatawang pinagmamasdan siya. He seem so alive right now. Is he this happy that we're meeting his parents? Lately, he's becoming more warm and he smile so often. Unlike the cold serious guy I met in the middle of a traffic which rarely gives a smile.

And what's with the curse? Ang sabi niya noon ay napakahilig ko raw magmura na hindi bagay sa babae pero ngayon siya naman. But even his curse sounds so manly and captivating. Hindi iyon nakaka-turn-off. I also can't get enough of his laughter.

"Tse! Akala mo naman! Hoy, fyi my dear bf, we live in a palace in Italy! Sumbong kita sa three idiots." Sabay ingos ko sa kanya.

I know I look childish but I can't help it. He thinks I'm too awed with their mansion. Well.. konti lang naman.
Who wouldn't appreciate this extravagant and spacious mansion? Aning na lang ang walang reaksiyon.

Kaya siguro parang alien 'tong si Apollo nang una kong makilala. Kahit iyong pancit canton ay hindi alam. Napakayaman naman pala na kahit alikabok yata ay hindi siya nadadapuan sa loob ng kanilang mansyon.

"Totoo!" I tried convincing him.

Pinandilatan ko siya nang patuloy pa rin siyang ngumisi. His eyes dancing with mirth.

"I know. I've been there."

I think I had a locked jaw with what I heard. Hello, I'm just kidding! Kailan pa kami nagka-palasyo? My family's rich but not that much. We're just well-off.. Siguro si Lolo Silvio masasabi ko pang big time.

"But it's from your ancestors.. and it's gone now."

"You're kidding!" My eyes are wide from disbelief. "My Dad didn't tell me about it or even those four idiots!"

He grinned and walked while gently clutching my elbow.

"Your family's not much of a bragger."

I'm still appalled with his information even when we're entering their mansion. I barely took notice of its stunning doors, beautiful floors and arches and the warm hues as I enter the house.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ngayon pa naisipang sabihin iyon sa akin ni Apollo. How did he know about those stuffs? At talaga bang may palasyo noon ang mga ninuno ko? Lolo Silvio seems not an heir to a palace. Or maybe Apollo's right and my family's not much of a bragger. Lolo Silvio's a down to earth person and he's not boastful.

I tried to calm myself and took notice of the interior of the mansion as we walked through a spacious living room. The lighting consists of combinations of candelabras as well as chandeliers giving the room sophistication. It's like a mid-century home with its elegant designs. I even saw a fireplace, next to it is a pair of armchairs clad in fabric and custom-made cocktail table.

My eyes are filled with wonders when I saw the paintings hung in the walls. I'm not an artistic person but I know how to appreciate those beautiful art pieces.

I only saw a number of helpers in their uniform and they keep on bowing as they passed us by.

Nasaan na kaya ang pamilya niya? My heart's thumping uneasily again as I think of the coming affair. Ano kayang magiging reaksiyon ng pamilya niya?
