I heaved a sigh reading all his messages.

Isang linggo na rin ang nakalipas matapos ang graduation ko. I am now working in Cuenco Estates. I'm still a regular employee at wala pang posisyon. I want to start at the bottom and I know I'm not yet good enough to claim a higher position.

I know that Dad wants this, too. He won't give me a high position easily without working hard for it. He won't give in just because I'm her daughter like what he told me when I'm looking for a company to train. He wants me to persevere and do it on my own. He wants me to stand on my own feet.

I bit my lips to refrain myself from answering his messages. But I got the better of me and composed him a message saying I'm okay and that I'm sorry.

Hindi ko pa rin siya kayang harapin matapos ang mga nangyari. I don't have the courage to see him face-to-face. I know he's busy with SGC too but he finds time to send me flowers and sometimes, he visits in our company. But I keep on avoiding him.

A week felt like years for me not seeing him. I miss him even when we're together, what more if we're not? I want to hear his soothing voice, feel his swift kisses and hug him tight. But everytime I think of meeting him, I literally back down!

I so hate myself! It's not like it's his fault. Walang may kasalanan.. Ginusto ko rin iyon pero hindi ko maiwasang mahiya. Sa ilang taong pamamalagi ko sa mundong ito, ngayon lang ako nahiya ng ganito! My gosh!

"Will you please see him already, Freesia? It's irritating to see your somber face!"

Umaariba na naman ang ka-malditahan ni Soffia. Her well-made eyebrow is raised. She's in her casual attire today, with her long maxi dress and floral ankle boots. Believe me, casual na iyon sa kanya.. While I'm wearing a corporate attire with strappy heels.

I am bored and I have no one to talked to. Hindi ko maaasahan ang mga pinsan kong three idiots dahil awkward lang din. Asa pa akong makikinig ang mga iyon sa hinaing ko tungkol sa aking bf! Isa pa'y wala pa rin silang tiwala kay Apollo. Akala yata nila kalahi siya nila. Hello, ang layo kaya ng level ng bf ko..

"I don't know how to.."

She rolled her eyes at me brattily. "My gosh! Nakalimutan mo nang mag-drive at pumunta sa company niya? Nakalimutan mo na kung paano tumawag at makipagkita? My gosh, Freesia! You're irritating the hell out of me!"

"Soffia, tone down your voice!" I gritted my teeth while talking to her.

I circled my gaze and everyone's staring at us! Paano ba naman ay napakalakas ng boses nitong si Soffia. Nahihiya yatang hindi marinig ang sinasabi niya.

"And so? I don't even care if they can hear me. Total gusto rin nilang maki-tsismis sa pinag-uusapan natin then might as well lakasan na para hindi sila mahirapang makinig!" Ilang beses pa siyang umirap habang sinasabi ito.

I should have known na ganito ka-eskandalosa ang pinsan ko! Sana sa medyo private na place na lang kami nagkita. My fault, I guess. Ako rin kasi ang nagpumilit makipagkita sa kanya.
And now I'm kinda regretting it!
