Helena (POV)

"Sariah!"  I yelled trying to find her hoping she would hear me amidst all the shootings.
Me ears now ringing in the process and my vision constricted. Right now I could most definitely use Sariah as my eyes and ears.

Twenty four hours that is how long we have been here, neither side giving up.

I had to admit but with Edward leading his army they were good but we are much better in every aspect. Besides we had the man power.

Sure we had a few casualties and a few fatalities but we held up our own.

Right now Sariah and I had gotten separated and I am hiding in a dug out.  My bullets are now depleted and all I had was my sword.  Good thing my father and Leo had taught me how to handle one or I would be just a sitting duck.

Unfortunately I couldn't just run out waving my hands in the air, while bullets and bombs are flying every where and a sword most definitely can't block any of them out.  What am I wonder woman?

Seeing a man twice my side, his shadowy figure looming over just beyond my line of sight as he seem to but refilling his rifle which I had taken my chance and raised my sword towards his neck slicing in just enough for blood to pour out.  I would watch him choke on his blood as I rammed my sword into his chest ending his life.

This is not my first kill but every time I had taken a life I would wonder if someone was waiting for them.

I could't well didn't have time to think about that right now, I am in the middle of a war zone, I'll feel guilty later after this war ends which I don't see it ending anytime soon.

Picking up his gun which I could now use I heard another set of foot step approaching me as I turned and pointed at my enemy.

There he was holding his own gun at me, his blue eye's fierce as I have now come face to face with a new set of problems.

"What are you waiting for you?"  I snarled at my enemy.

Dropping his gun he now stood in front of the barrel of my gun, "If you are going to shoot, here's your chance."

He grabbed my gun and pointed towards his chest, clearly an easy shot.  If I could take him out now then this war will automatically end.  With no one to command them it be easy picking.

My fingers placed on the trigger as I grip the gun in my head.  'Pull the trigger.' I commanded myself.

Sweat rolled off my skin, my breathing now becoming labored.  I couldn't do it.  Even if he is my enemy.

Instantly the gun fell from my hands as the man ran up to me engulfing me in a hug, "Elena."  He breathed.

My hands trying to push him away, then slapping him, "I should kill you."

"But you wont."  He stumbled backwards.

"Grandfather would be proud if I serve your head on a silver platter towards your father, King Charles."

"But you wont."

I held up my sword aiming it at him, "And how do you know I wont."

"Because you can't."  He smiled foolishly. Damn that smile.

He's right though, I can't do it.  I can't kill him.  As much as it hurts, it would hurt me more that he is won't be in arms reach if I were to end his life.

Putting my sword in my sheath, I turned around, "Go now.  I have a war I must end."  I coldly spoke to him only for him to grab me and throwing me over his shoulders.
