Ming's POV

I can't believe this.

But, it's...

The heir of Innochtare is getting married to a supermodel.

I can't believe this. How can he be marrying someone else when he has been with me all this while? I mean... He IS with me.

A supermodel?

Who?

Is it the same model that he used to date? But didn't he already dumped her?

"I know the guy you are seeing is the heir of Innochtare. I believe you already know who he is too. It's not like my son would do his chasing without knowing his prey."

He is not a prey. He is my angel. Mine.

"So... it wasn't long I think before he goes back to his family. It's time for you to do the same too, son."

I can barely grasp what my father wants to say. He wants me to what?

"Sir, Chef Kittinan left his restaurant around 1:30 in the afternoon and heads to the hospital by taxi."

Even now, when I'm getting reports from my man, informing the whereabouts of my angel, I can barely hear it, as my thoughts were filled with what my father has told me. But one word triggers me.

"Hospital? What for?"

Is my angel sick again?

"He seems to be meeting his friend, the doctor."

"Are you sure he is not getting a check-up of some sort?"

"Erm... that would be impossible, sir. His friend, Dr. Beam, the one that he's meeting with, is a gynaecologist."

"Meaning?"

"He handles pregnancy, sir."

Kit's POV

It was supposed to be a quick check up and some talks, but knowing Beam, he did a thorough examination on me. He was worried that with all the pressure I'm dealing with, it will take a toll on my body, and affecting my baby.

"Kitty, this will be a bit cold, na."

Right now I'm lying on the black reclining bed, with my shirt pulled up. I change my uniform at the restaurant just before I came here. Going around in a chef attire is a bit inconvenient.

Beam lather some bluish gel on my abdomen that feels cold when it hit my skin. I cringe over this feeling. It's weird. He pulls out the scanning device and rolls it around my stomach.

"There... there's the little angel. Can you see it, Kitty?"

I focus my sight on the monitor at my left. Nothing much on the screen, it's all black with a tiny white dot, surround by greyish bubble, at the right corner of the screen.

"He's hiding. But he's growth rate is quite good. His heartbeat is strong too. Listen."

Beam turns the volume up and all I can hear of is a strong pumping sound of heart. I felt a pang of joy in my heart, knowing that my baby is healthy and strong.

Just like his dad.

"Beam... You call the... baby, he? Is it a he then?"

He give me a wad of tissues to wipe off the gel before he push the monitor away and head back to his seat. I throw away the tissues and sit myself in front of him, after putting my shirt properly.
