48. Can We Face This, Together?

The kitten was tired, due to his pregnancy and his outburst; he falls into a deep sleep within the devil's arm. After a good while, the devil shifts his precious angel and carries him up. He was wondering, should he be carrying him home or just let him rest upstairs.

After thinking that his angel wouldn't want to create any scandal by being seen outside in his princess hold, he exits the office and head towards the room upstairs.

The rotten manager is keeping her goofy smile upon spying her boss's boyfriend act that way. Fangirling silently in her heart, her Wattpad account will surely have another update tonight.

The devil carefully laid his angel on the bed, making his way next to him, holding him close, even for a while more. They both drift off to a sweet slumber, pushing back their problem for later.

Meanwhile, the angel's lovely friends are having a meet together, after they escape from his office. All four of them escape to Beam's house, the nearest from Kit's restaurant. They were planning to discuss what they can do to help, but the taller doctor needs to know the truth first, as all of them do.

Phana starts shooting questions towards Beam, asking how on earth he knows about the devil.

"Kit told me about him. Before you ask why on earth I didn't let you in the loop, it's the patient's request."

"Keep the bull, Beam. He is our friend first. Do you have any idea who he is and what his family are?" The tall doctor retort angrily.

"P' Pha, calm down, na. I think P' Kit is in great hand. Don't you see how much that guy loves him?" Seeing his agitated lover, Wayo tries to calm him down.

"Guys, that man is a Dachaipaya."

"I know that. What's wrong with it? If you're referring to his so called marriage, you heard it yourself, it's a ruse. Kitty doesn't have any twin sister. That man was being played by his own father as well as Kitty."

Beam is puzzled over his friend sudden hostile towards the devil; their pregnant friend's lover.

"Beam, love, I think, Phana is talking about something else."

Three pairs of eyes turn towards the tall tanned engineer that was leisurely playing with his lover's hair.

"Stop it, Forth. Do you know something that I don't?" his lover asks, swatting away Forth's fingers that were brushing on his nape.

The engineer keep his mum while sharing a look with the taller doctor, catching his surprised glint.

"You knew about him too?"

"Not him, but his father, his reputation." After answering the tall doctor, he fall back on the sofa, still keeping his hand on the back of his lover.

"What's wrong with his father? P' Forth? P' Pha?"

The younger man had a puzzled look on his face, while devouring his bottle of pink milk that was bribed to him by his lover. The doctor and the engineer shared a look before silently agrees to share the bad news.

"Well, we all know the power of the Innochtare, right? The power of the Dachaipaya is..."

Kit's POV

"Angel..."

That voice, that name. Is it still for me?

"Can you tell me what have you planned? About the baby?"

He brought me home, after my restaurant closed for the night. It seems like I was asleep for a long, long time, as I wake up after working hours ended.
