Kit's POV

"Don't go. Don't leave me. You're mine. MINE!"

What the hell?

Did he know that I'm planning to leave? How?

That's totally impossible. My plan should be perfect. He can't possibly know.

But then...

Shit... we are in the open.

I finally realised that we are outside of my restaurant. I can clearly see my manager watch us in shock from behind the glass wall. I'm sure a few of my patrons would see us too.

This mean... They can see us.

I scan my eyes around until I found a small reflective flash just across the street. Most probably from a long distance camera.

Smirk.

They've never learn, don't they?

Keep sending them all, Dada. I'll make sure none of them will ever make it back.

Kitty...

"Ming... let's go in first, na."

I pull away from him, cupping his face that is now close to tears. It hurts me...

"Come."

Dropping a quick peck on his lips, I drag his hand to enter my restaurant. Rachel is beaming at me from behind her post and was ready to say something, but I shut her down with a quick shake of head and ghost mouthing a 'no'.

I bring him pass the dining area, which was fortunately quite empty, heading straight to the second floor, where my room is located. I can't bring him to the office; too many sensitive documents are stored in there.

Yeah, including the plan of leaving him.

He keeps his silence all the way, which is worrying me as he is someone who would never shut up. His mouth would not stop moving, teasing me or...

Kissing you...

Just be quiet for a while will you. I'm thinking.

I bring him to my room, the one that I would use when I'm too tired to go home, and make him seat at the edge of the single bed, while I'm standing in front of him, looking down at his crown.

"Now, can you tell me what happen, Ming?"

Ming's POV

Shit. I almost blew my cover.

What can I say? I'm too anxious about the prospect of him leaving me, to go and get married with someone else, that I actually forgot that I'm not supposed to know about it.

I mean, he change his name, leave his family, and he is taking up a job that is a complete opposite of what his family expect him to do. That can only mean one thing.

He wants to hide who he is.

Which means, the news of the Innochtare heir getting married, shouldn't be affecting me or us, isn't it?

But what about him?

Is him being with me was all a lie?

Is that why he wants to live with me? To spend his last freedom with me? Before he run and marrying a woman?

"Ming?"

I snap back, hearing his call. I pull him down, rolling us on the bed, entrap him beneath me.
