13, PRIDE pt.2

"Alright let me just grab the sal- OOO!" I quietly groan as Jin stops again for the 5th time this salt trip.

I watch him awe over all the types of snacks he could buy before slipping away as he was distracted to actually get what we had come here for.

I grabbed the salt from the aisle a couple feet away from Jin before making it over to where he stood.

Or where he did stand.

I look around in confusion for the broad shouldered man child, only to spot no one familiar around.

"Jin?" I called out looked around as if looking for a lost puppy. Now, when I did find him, my eyebrows furrow.

There he was, leaning against the cashier counter, talking to at least 3 girls. Two being in line and the other the cashier.

As I walk closer with a stern face, I get a listen to what he's saying.

"...you know, I'm pretty handsome." He flirted. I walked all the way to him by the time at least several more flirty statements left his mouth.

"Hey, Jin. I got the salt. Let's pay and go." I give an apologetic expression towards the innocent girls after the cashier displays an uncomfortable atmosphere and tug Jin's arm.

To my surprise, he dismisses me with the wave of his hand and continues to wink and smile at them.

Soon enough, not to any surprise, glowing fog according to his color of sin, drifts slowly from around his ankles.

Luckily, I spot it quick and tug on Jin's arm again, harder this time. "Minji, what is your problem?" Jin scoffs.

"Let's just go." I chuckle nervously in anxiousness. The fog becomes thicker as the time passes and slowly one of the girls begin to notice it.

In sheer panic, I drop the salt on the counter and bolt for the door, dragging a stumbling Jin behind as the three girls watch in pure confusion.

Long story short, the salt was not bought.

Once we enter the car, I wipe the sweat off my forehead and sigh in relief.
"Why did we leave?!" Jin questions, crossing his arms.

I massage my temple and turn to face him, "You got too cocky! Narcissism was literally pouring out of you." Jin rolled his eyes and buckled his seat belt as did I. He mumbled to himself for part of the ride home and did not glance at me at all.
