11. What should I do??

*****Jin's POV*****

The things that I feared the most are happening in an instance. All the time that I've been struggling to get a hold of myself and my career, the things that I feared the most are scandals and negative publicity. I've always tried to stay out of any kind of rumors that may affect my career and my business. I know that all the efforts that I've put in my business may ruin and I have to put double effort to gain myself a clean image after that.

I'm trying to recover the sudden damage and downfall in company shares since Kookie made a mistake. He's still a kid and I understand that. I tried to turn the flow of events in our favor. But as far as I can evaluate the situation things are not going to change any time soon.

Jungkook is completely keeping a low profile now. But every now and then there are news about him and us trying to hide the supposedly dating rumors that are going on.

Tae officially gave a statement last week that Jungkook is not in any kind of relationship and our company does not give the privileges to date until and unless the contract is over or the rumored star is stable enough in his or her career. This is how it is supposed to be in the Pop industry in Korea. Big producing companies are often criticized that they don't let the idols lead any personal life. Which is partially a false statement. Once an idol is rumored to date anyone the fan base goes crazy about that and it of course hampers both the company business and the career of that idol. This is why such measures are taken.

I wake up from my congested thoughts. Jimin comes in my room with some papers in his hand.

"Jin, I've got the information that you wanted. Here it is." He hands me over the papers.

"Thanks!!! I'll go through it." I say while taking the papers from him.

"Tell me something. Who is this girl that you're taking all the efforts for? Why did you need her flight details? And her academic details? And how did you know that she's coming to Korea? Why are you gathering information about an Indian girl anyway?" Jimin is looking at me with sharp eyes.

I try to avoid the question by faking a disturbed expression in my face. But, yeah! That's Jimin!

"Tell me, what are you hiding?" He says in a curious and interrogative tone.

"ummm.....she's actually a friend of mine who has asked for some help. She will be studying here." I'm out of excuse.

"Well, how can you help her?"

"She has taken admission in Hankuk University. I just have to look after some of her scholarship details."

Jimin doesn't seem convinced enough. Still, he lets go.

"I see. Tell me if you need anything more to help her." Jimin is smirking and I can see that from the corner of my eye.

"Of course. Whom would I ask for help if not you? You know some things better than me anyway. I'll ask her." I try to discourage him.

Ok, crap!!! I shouldn't have said that I'll ask her if she needs anything more.

Jimin says in a serious yet sarcastic tone, "Dude! You've got some serious explanation to do. I'm not convinced at all that she's just a friend for whom you are actually exploiting your company resources."

Yeah. I know that already. And I know that I'm too dumb and just brought this on me by myself.
