Chapter four

I watched frowning as Mishka and the vampire walked away, the other vampire, the one with dreads following silently behind. Turning on my heel I marched towards my friends a scowl still in place on my face. Shae turned to me, a knowing look in her eyes, "Ok what is up with you and Dante."

Dante, that's the pig headed leaches name, I much prefer leach. Sighing I said "Nothing, we've just met before and I was surprised when we saw him at the gig."

I couldn't tell her the truth with the others here; they didn't know that I was an angel. Seeing that there was more to the story that I could not speak of Shae asked no more questions.

We all made our way back to the hotel of which we were staying and headed towards our room. Once we were up there us girls fought for the shower and they guys lazed around on the couches watching T.V, and some passed out on the beds. After a hot shower I slipped into my own bed and the second my head hit the pillow, I was out for the night, and all thoughts turned to that bloody, pig headed leach.

My eyes flew open and I gasped for air, the dream was back, it only appeared when he was close by, the prince of darkness, the one being that I feared. Looking around the room I saw that I was alone, which gave me very little reassurance. As I sat up and swung my legs out of the bed I glanced at the clock, it was five in the afternoon, I had slept through most of the day.

Sighing I grabbed my phone from the bed side table and saw that I had 3 missed calls and 7 text messages. The first two missed calls were from my father, probably wondering how I was, and that I was safe. The last was from Jaiden, calling from where ever him and the rest of the group where. Most of the texts were from Jaiden and Shae, but 1 was from Angel, my twin brother.

I opened it and it said.

Angel: *Lex is in the area and people have been going missing, so be careful, yeah?*

 Damn I knew it; the dream always confirms when that evil son of a bitch was around or not. I texted my brother back straight away.

Me: *Kay, grazie Ge'Co*

Most people shortened my brother’s name from Angelico too Angel, but my nick name for him was Ge'Co and he wouldn't let anyone else call him by that name. Next I opened the last text by Jaiden and it said.

Jaiden: *I've texted you a million times but I knew you would open the last one so I’m just telling you that were all at Harbor Town*

Wait, they went to my favorite shopping center and didn't take me. I could feel my mouth hanging open and quickly closed it. They were so going to pay, but first I was going to get something to eat, I'm starved.

I held a big bucket filled to the brim with water in my right hand as a plan formed in my head. The second they opened the door I would throw the water all over them. Yes I'm mean, but it's so much fun.

Awhile later I heard laughter from outside the door, and voices talking quietly. A key was jammed into the key hole and was jingled around a bit till the lock clicked, then the door was flying open and I was hurtling water at them.

They looked at me all stunned and looking like drowned rats. I fell back on the bed and exploded into fits of laughter. Soon they joined in, over the shock of being soaked to high heaven with 10 liters of freezing cold water.

After everyone’s laughter died down I rolled my shoulders feeling how stiff I was from being coiled up in this hotel room all day. Then I remembered that I promised Mishka that I'd go see her, so I stood up and headed for the door. "Where you going" I turned to see Jaiden staring at me with an arched brow. "Just too see Mishka" I said then added on "Want to come".
