It was rainy afternoon, and y/n was sitting in her room wondering about what Wyatt was doing. Was he better without her? Happier? The answer to those questions is no. Wyatt was definitely not happier or better. In fact, he was miserable without her. He missed her cute laugh, her dimples, and her beautiful voice. He wasn't the same after the breakup. Y/n missed Wyatt too. She missed playing with his curly hair, and the jokes the two had together. She missed him badly. If they miss each other so bad, why don't they get back together?

Well, Wyatt had found a new girlfriend a few months after the breakup. Was he happy with her? No. She was beautiful and kind, but she wasn't y/n. Why did they breakup? Y/n had be really distant from Wyatt. He thought she no longer loved him anymore, so the two spilt up. The reason y/n was so distant, because she was dealing with her depression. Y/n's father had passed away over a year ago, and it crushed her. She didn't tell Wyatt about her depression so he never knew. Y/n was struggling badly without him.

She thought about texting him. Just to see how he was doing. She finally gathered up the courage, and grabbed her phone off her desk to text him.

y/n: Hey Wyatt, how are you? It's been awhile.

He immediately responded.

Wyatt: Hello Y/n. I'm good, what about you?

Y/n: Not that good to be honest.

Wyatt: Is everything okay?

Y/n: Can we meet up?

Wyatt: Well Sophia is over, can we meet up after she leaves?

Y/n: Sure. Just meet me at our place.

Wyatt: I'll be there.

Y/n sighed and put her phone down. Y/n and Wyatt's place was the field behind y/n's house. There is a huge tree that they went to, to talk and just hangout. When they were little kids, they would always go out by it and play. By then, the rain had stopped. Y/n slipped on some shorts, and her favorite shirt. After putting her shoes on, she walked out of her house and went to the tree. She brought out an old blanket to sit out on the wet grass. She leaned against the tree, and closed her eyes. She has to tell him everything.

About how she was trying to deal with her depression. About how hard it was not to just breakdown crying. She opens her eyes when she hears footsteps. She hasn't seen Wyatt since they were together. He was dressed in a simple red shirt, and some ripped black jeans with white shoes. He looked very handsome. "Hey." He says sitting beside her. "Hi." She says. "You wanted to talk?" He says. She sighs. "I know you think the reason I broke up with you was because you thought I didn't love you. But that is not true. I loved you so damn much, and I still do. I was dealing with my depression, and I still am. I didn't want to bring anything on you, so I distanced myself from you. It was a dumb idea, but I didn't know what to do. I'm really sorry Wyatt." Y/n says with tear pouring out of her eyes.

Wyatt wraps his strong arms around her, and holds her close to his chest. She sobs on his chest, and he rubs her back. After she finishes crying, she wipes her eyes and looks up at him. "Listen y/n, I would have tried my best to help you if you told me. You wouldn't have brought anything on me. I want to help you. I l-love you y/n. I missed you so, so much. I want you to be happy, and I will try my best to make that happen." He says. "I love you Wyatt." She says. "I love you too." He says . Y/n rests her head his shoulder while he keeps an arm around her. They sit in silence for awhile, until Wyatt speaks up.

"I love you y/n, I do. But Sophia is my girlfriend, and I still need to figure things out before you and I get back together. I'll let you know my decision, okay?" He says. "I understand, but just know if you choose to stay with Sophia I won't be mad or sad. I will still love you though." Y/n says. "If I do choose Sophia, I will still try my best to help you y/n." He says. "Thank you Wyatt." She says. The two say their goodbyes, and Wyatt goes home leaving Y/n with a small smile on her face.
