William Kash and Brittany Sweeney were high school sweethearts. They got married right after they finished college. Will and Britt were the couple everyone wanted to be like. Everyone they knew, and even those they didn't, envied them. They wished for William and Brittany's life. Their connection was something everyone desired in their life.

Their love story was truly like a fairy-tale come to life.

They loved each other with a love that was stronger than anyone had ever seen before in real life. They were truly the definition of soul mates. If you open the dictionary to the page that defines 'soul mates', you would find their picture beneath the word.

Their friends and family would go on to say that the bond they shared was the most amazing they had ever seen in their entire lives. Their connection was stronger than steel and unbreakable.

They lived a truly great life together. Their careers  were flourishing and they were bringing home more money every day than they did the night before. They were moving up in the ranks at their respective companies and were even looking to invest some money in the stock market and possibly open their own company together. They lived in an upscale neighborhood with the biggest house on the block and the most expensive cars in the driveway.

Life was great for the happily married couple.

They opened Sweeney and Kash Corporation three and a half years after their marriage. The company skyrocketed and their profits went through the roof. They had more money than they could count at this point.

Their lives were only beginning.

The couple thought nothing could get better for them until the birth of their first child, little Avery six years into their marriage. She was the light of their lives. They spoiled the little girl and gave her anything she could ever want. They only wanted what was best for their little girl.

The girl, born with a severe nut allergy, was in and out of the hospital for the first few years of her life before they figured out exactly how to help her. Once they got her allergy figured out and were able to avoid foods with any nuts, things became great again for everyone.

They continued spoiling the girl and treating her like a little princess. They would give her the world if they could.

Then, things started to go south for the seemingly happy couple. When Avery was five years old, her mom suffered a miscarriage late into her second pregnancy. The little boy died before he could even take his first breath.

They were forced to bury the tiny child they were going to name Xander. His death broke both of her parents' hearts. Even Avery, who did not understand death at the time, could sense that something was wrong.

Avery's mom fell into a deep depression. This created a rift between the pair. They began fighting and sleeping in different bedrooms. For a time, they even considered getting a divorce. But even they knew that signing some papers was not going to fix anything.

They wanted to get better for the sake of their marriage and their little girl.

By the time Avery turned seven, things seemed to have gone back to normal for the couple. They even began trying to have another baby. They went back to their regular routines and continued living their happy lives together.

By the time she was eight, they still had not been successful in their attempts to have another baby. But everything else in their lives was working out for the pair. They were determined not to let this divide them.

Six more years passed. Avery was now fourteen. She was dealing with some bullies at school. Her parents worked together with the teachers and faculty at school and were eventually able to rid Avery of the mean girls who taunted her daily.

The couple was stronger than ever. Their union, unbreakable. The family was back to normal in no time. Things were great for them again. Avery was going to school with no problems with her peers, their company was growing with every minute that passed, and their marriage grew stronger with every breath.

But things were not as they seemed. They rarely ever are.

William cheated on his wife for the first time on a business trip when their daughter was two. He fell out of love with his wife and became head over heels for this new woman several states down. He had several children with the other woman over the years of his infidelity.

Four to be exact.

The pair worked together to parent their shared children and another child from a previous relationship the woman had.

Avery is eighteen now. She, not knowing of her father's affair, has been living a lie. The perfect family everyone envied is far from perfect. Years of her father's lies haunt the family and will ruin their perfect reputation.

When Avery's mother mysteriously died last week, her father revealed the extent of his secret second family and told her she would be moving in with them at the start of next week.

She will be starting at a new school, leaving her old job, and moving to a completely new state. She will have a whole new family to deal with. Avery will go from being an only child to being one of six kids in a house.

Avery's world is about to be turned upside down.
