Once they had crossed back over the Ford, Robin stared to separate herself from the group. No one seemed to notice, they were too busy talking about plans and getting to the How soon enough to be ready for war. Robin wasn't one for listening to this stuff. She'd do the battles, but not the planning, and soon she came back to them and excused herself as a scout for any wanders. Caspian just nodded, but his eyes were full of concern for what had just happened earlier.

"I'm fine. Seriously, this is why I have no siblings and am always by myself."

"Or is it because you had no parents." The little mouse--not Reepicheep--asked as he sat on Glenstorm's back. He was a little one, by the name of Preepiceek, and Robin knew he was one of the deserters Reepicheep had found a while back. They are small and normally have no family. She hadn't even noticed him until now. Robin growled and had to hold herself back from eating him.

"I may not have parents, but I still have family." The mouse gave no responds back and Robin stormed off, but not far. A neigh and the thudding of hooves stops her and bring in short breaths Robin finds that her friend is close by. Out of the woods, trots Glade in all his majesty. He prances to her and bows his head. "Hello, boy." Glade nickers and lowers his head more as Robin starts to scratch it.

"Your horse is a smart one, Robin." Glenstorm said as he and Caspian stopped next to her. "Even for being dumb." Glade stomped his foot.

"He might be a dumb horse, but he understands you perfectly." Robin now rubs between his ears. "And besides I was told he was born from two Narnian horses, just he didn't come with a voice." Glade looked into her eyes contently and gave another low nicker. Robin smiles and walks to his back. She grabbed his mane and jumped up onto his back. "We'll scout out some, in case we have some stragglers. Don't stop until you get to the How and you should be fine."

"A moment ago, it was me giving orders." Caspian said as his hand ran up and down on Glade's neck.

"You know I don't take orders. I just can't stand it when everyone gets worried, so I tell you were I'm going and even if you say no, I will still most likely go." Caspian chuckled and gave a small smile. Robin returned it and turned Glade to the forest and disappeared into the foliage.

It was early morning when Robin decided that she should try and catch up with Caspian. She had found no stragglers and no followers for that matter. Now she rode half asleep and her neck was killing her. She was almost asleep when the clanking of swords woke her up. Had someone avoided her and found Caspian? She urged Glade forward and raced toward the sound.

"Stop!" A voice yelled causing Robin to pull Glade to a complete stop. Had that really been a voice she knew? She recognized it so well, she could have sworn it was a very old friend of her's. The sword clinging had stopped and Robin stood in a small clearing where a fire pit had dead coals resting in the bottom of it. There was nothing or anyone else around, but Robin's heightened sense told her who had been here.

Jumping off of Glade's back she walked forward and up a small incline to come up above Caspian and a blonde boy. Robin could only see his back, but she knew who it was and it took all her might to not yell to them.

"Prince Caspian?" Peter asked. Robin could now see that Caspian held Peter's sword. This told her that they must have been the ones fighting.

"Yes. And who are you?" Caspian asked, his voice giving off a harsh tone.

"Peter!" A voice called from down the incline and up came Susan, Edmund, and the Dwarf Trumpkin. Robin now started her descent down the mountain and stood behind Susan and Lucy, but still unnoticed.

Caspian looked down at the sword in his hand, then back at Peter. "High King Peter?" He asked. Peter nodded and took half a step forward.

"I believe you called."

"Well yes, but... I thought you'd be older." Peter started to walk toward his family freeing the stubbornness in him.

"Well, if you'd like, we can come back in a few years."

"No! No, that's alright." Caspian said quickly. "You're just... You're not exactly what I expected." His eyes moved over each and everyone of them, but lingered a little longer on Susan, which Robin noticed--I might add. She smirked and started forward.

"Neither are you." Edmund said. Robin now stood a foot away from Susan's back.

"Well, of course he isn't." She said, making everyone turn to her. "He's not some shut-up-excuse-of-a-prince, that has too much time on his hands and gets whatever he wants." Lucy was the first to move, and Robin found herself engulfed in a hug that was breathtakingly tight around her neck. Then Susan ran forward and wrapped herself around Robin. Robin returned the action and felt the years spent waiting for them to return, disappear as she relaxed in their grips.

After a while they had to pull away and it was Edmund and Peter's turns. They did give her hugs and it didn't feel odd like Robin thought it would, but more like hugging a brother--which they are.

"Amazing you are still alive." Peter joked, as he and Ed backed up. Robin gave him a scowl.

"Have you really forgotten that much over the course of however long it was for you."

"It's been a year for us." Susan said. Robin looked at her shocked.

"Your years, must be very long...1,300 years long in fact." Peter looked at her shocked.

"A common enemy unites even the oldest of foes." Trufflehunter said. Narnian had walked out of their hiding places and were now showing themselves for the kings and queens to see.

"We have anxiously awaited your return, my liege." Reepicheep said walking forward. "Our hearts and sword are at your service." Caspian looked down annoyed. Lucy leaned over to Robin and Susan.

"Oh my gosh, he is so cute." She said. Robin stifled a laugh as the mouse turned around fast with his sword out.

"Who said that?!" He yelled aiming the weapon at each and everyone of them.

"Sorry." Lucy said quietly. Reepicheep looked shocked that she had said it and lowered his sword.

"Oh, uh... your majesty. With the greatest respect...I do believe courageous, courteous, or chivalrous might more befit a knight of Narnia." He placed the blade away. Peter stared down at him with a small smile.

"Well, at least we know some of you can handle a blade." He said, and Robin wished she could smack the back of his head for that one, but instead she simply glared.

"Yes, indeed. And I have recently put it to good use, securing weapons for your army, sire." Peter smirked and turned to Caspian.

"Good. Because we're going to need every sword we can get."

"Well, then you will probably be wanting yours back." Caspian said, handing Peter the hilt. Peter took it with a little too much force and sheathed it as he walked away. Caspian followed and picked up his discarded blade.
