Mermaids splashed in the water as they rejoiced in the returning of their water from ice. They jumped as high as they could, happy that they were free and that Narnia was regaining it's rightful rulers.
The waves still crashed against Cair Paravel's mountain, trying to bring it into the sea, but the Castle was at its strongest. It's rulers were back and even the sea was weak to try and destroy the castle of the four thrones.
Inside the whole army of Aslan stood in the throne room, waiting for the gates to open and Narnia's Kings and Queens to enter. Robin stood on the far edge of the platform holding up the thrones. She still wore her armor and sword, but her quiver she had taken off. Lucy and Susan had tried to get her into a dress of some sort, but Robin just shifted into her cat form and the girls were left helpless.
So, Robin now stood the only girl not in a dress of some fashion. Not many women were in there. Actually the only other females of any race was Mrs. Beaver and a few Centaurs.
Horns blew and the big gates opened and in walked Aslan with the Pevensie boys on one side and girls on the other. Centaurs holding their long swords up creating an arch above them raised the swords higher so as to make a wall, instead of a bridge.
The Kings and Queens walked up the few steps to each other's thrones and stood before them. Aslan stood a little in front of them and addressed the crowd.
"To the glistening Eastern Sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant." The Beavers walked forward each holding a pillow with two crowns on them. Mr. Tumnus also walked behind them with a green scarf to replace his red one. He picked up one of the smaller silver crowns looking like a flower crown. He placed it onto Lucy's head as she gave a small bow. Then he backed up and bowed himself.
"To the great Western Wood, King Edmund the Just." Mr. Tumnus took him, his crown. The crown looked more like a crown with no girly flowers dotting it, but the arches you normally see on a crown.
"To the radiant Southern Sun, Queen Susan, the Gentle." Susan's crown looked much like Lucy's, only golden.
"And to the clear Northern Sky, I give you King Peter, the Magnificent." Peter stood from his bow and looked much different than he had just a few seconds before. He was no longer a boy, but a man and a king at that.
The Pevensie backed up and sat down into their thrones, as Aslan turned to look at them. "Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens." He turned back around and everyone in the crowd--including Robin--started to address their new Kings and Queens.
"Long live King Peter! Long live King Edmund! Long live Queen Susan! Long live Queen Lucy!" The not-so-children looked at one another and smiled.
Robin walked around the dancing guest in search of the new rulers. She had to talk to them before she left and it wasn't her fault that she did. She found them in a little sitting area talking with a Minotaur, a Faun, and the Beavers. Robin smiled to herself and walked up behind Peter. She tapped him on the shoulder causing him to turn around.
"Your Highness," She gave a mocking bow but smiled the whole time as did the others. "Okay, forget that. I need to know if I am allowed to have Glade?"
"Why would you ask?" Peter said, still smiling after her "bow".
"Well, apparently according to that Faun over there I'm not allowed to leave without permission." She pointed to the door, where Glade stood beside a Faun, who happened to be Tumnus.
"Maybe he didn't want you to leave without saying good-bye." Lucy said stepping forward. "Where are you going to go?"
"That could be the reason. I'm going to Calorman. Tales say that some travelers have been seen coming this way and I'm too help them out as best I can." Robin looked to the floor as she thought of everything. She hadn't noticed that it was now only the five of them standing there. The creatures had dismissed themselves as Lucy had asked her question. Robin wasn't really noticing anything at that moment.
She did noticed though when two little hands wrapped around her waist and two more around her shoulders. She was being hugged again and again her body stiffened, but not for nearly as long. She put one hand around Susan, holding her shoulders, and another around Lucy at her waist. The boys stood there looking strange and unsure of what to do.
They made up their minds though and soon the little hug between three became a group hug between five. Robin smiled in delight.
