Dear Dean,
Good morning sunshine, even though it's a rainy morning. You always made the days brighter. Sam got me to take your sweater off. He saw the faint scab on my forearm He wasn't happy.
*Flashback*
Sam knocked on the door.
"Come in." Cas called.
"Cas, lemme wash that sweater. You can put it right back on I promise. It just needs to be washed." Sam gave him a desperate look.
Cas could see the hurt, sorry, depressed, scared look in Sam's eyes. So he obeyed. He slowly took Dean's sweater off and handed it to Sam. Sam never noticed how skinny Cas was. He examined his body while taking the sweater. Sam noticed something on Cas's left arm. He took Castiel's arm and gently rubbed two fingers over the mark. He looked at Cas who was looking down at his own lap. Sam sat on the bed across from Castiel and picked his head up so their eyes met. Cas saw the tears in Sam's eyes, he knew Sam was hurt and that shot a pain through his heart.
"Why Cas, why?" Sam's voice was hard and wet. He was trying to hold back tears but they just seemed to keep pushing their way out.
"I was sad, and I wanted to see why Dean did it... I'm sorry." Cas replied in barely a whisper.
Sam wrapped his arms around Castiel and help him tightly. Both, gave up on trying to stop the tears, holding each other, crying, that's when they both realized how close they actually were. Sam broke the hug after a few moments and looked Cas right in the eyes. He could see everything he was feeling. Hurt, lonely, depressed. Nobody loved Dean more than Cas. Dean was the only one for Cas. Dean was Castiel's world and now it is gone. Cas is so lost, so lonely, so confused. He doesn't know how to live without him.
"Cas, please, no more. Not one more. Dean wouldn't want this and it hurts me seeing you like this. Were like brothers man. I can't lose you too I'm here for you. We can get through this ... Together."
Sam gave him a small smile letting a few more tears escape.
"Thank you."
He gave me the sweater back I'm wearing it again. It feels just like your warm hugs! Hee hee. We had a talk, Sam and I, were gonna work harder at trying to get me healthy again and out of the house more often. It's not going to be easy and I am scared. But I know Sam will not let me down. I hope you're doing well Dean. I miss you very much. Please, come see me tonight. I don't care how you look I just need to see you. I love you Dean Winchester.
Love, Cas.
