dyslexia

Slowly stumbling, I knew I would fall,
Soon I collapsed like a great wall,
Want to be one of them, not looked down in the hall,

Letters and numbers don't fit me well,
Spellings and grammar are set to be hell,
My confidence doesn't exist, my body is an empty shell,

Though I seen to be normal,
My language is a little formal,
Making friends seems really abnormal,

Sports are meant to be fun,
For me they are just troublesome,
Second by second my posture grew slump,

Don't try that hard to help me,
In the end, you will have to let me be,
I am better being myself, why don't you see?

They tell me,"Don't worry child! You are not meant to fit in",
But what if I want to, are my feelings really worth that bin,
Is being myself yet fitting in that big of a sin?

I know I am not normal from the brain,
Does that mean I deserve all this pain,
If this goes on, how long will I remain sane?

Dyslexia:
a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling. It's a specific learning difficulty, which means it causes problems with certain abilities used for learning, such as reading and writing. Unlike a learning disability, intelligence isn't affected.

This poem is about a teen with dyslexia. Its about them just wanting to fit in and be one with the crowd. People with dyslexia are often treated a little bit to carefully, as if they are weak and can't do anything normaly.
People with dyslexia are capable of doing alot,if they are given a chance.

Yours truly,
