Be warned, be scared
For my personalities are layered
Once I change, my door shall be barred

There are only a few we trust
For that, finiding the host is a must
The chamber to our heart is stuck with rust

My memory is nothing but a dark void
Talking about it makes them annoyed
Just to keep myself save, this shall be avoid

They are only here to protect me
You shouldn't be scared, this is how I'll always be
Once they lose their temper, It will be ugly

Oh boy, oh boy! You might need to run away
When the dangerous one comes to bay
But once it comes to me, its his life he will lay

Our writings are different and so are our thoughts
One thing you can never do is make us act like bots
Struggling till our final shots

If you want to get close
You need to lessen my heavy dose
Because once i'm free, I'll bloom like a rose

Dissociative identity disorder(DID):
also known as multiple personality disorder, is a mental disorder characterized by at least two distinct and relatively enduring personality states. There is often trouble remembering certain events, beyond what would be explained by ordinary forgetfulness.

This poem is about a person with DID. Since DID is caused by a childhood trauma, the personalities are there to help amd save the host from their past. This person has a haunting past which is why they have a certain personality which is cold hearted when it comes to others but he will do anything to protect the host. They are given some medications to keep him in control.The other is sweet and extremly shy, scarred with what she knows. They have 2 extra personalities, one is the sweet, kind one and the other is the dangerous one. Both there to save and protect them, not to harm others until they feel threatened.
