Chapter Twenty Four: It's Begun

Remus Lupin has decided to come by for a visit. I haven't seen the man since he sit my father with that jinx that lead to his death. However, I've had many weeks to recover and clear my head. I know it isn't his fault but I can't quite find it within me to forgive him fully yet. So I hide up in my room as I hear him enter. After his grand announcement of who he was at the door, he bursts in singing happily that his wife, Tonks had her baby and it was a boy. I get the urge to go down and congratulate him but feel held back. I don't want to ruin his happy moment. Seeing me would bring up to many unnecessary memories. So I sit against my door as they toast to the occasion with wine. They celebrate for several minutes before Lupin says he really must go. They laugh and bid their farewells and I decide to get some air. 

So I open my window and crawl out onto the roof with one of the quilts from my bed. It isn't as easy as it sounds but I manage to get into a comfortable position on the shingling. The little cottage sat on a cliff overlooking the sea that we apparated to several weeks ago. The cottage is whitewashed with shells of all sorts embedded into the walls. It's a beautiful place. The smell and sound of the sea is constant and relaxing. My favourite place to be has been the roof where I can sit alone and sort through my thoughts. Luna has joined me a few times having figured out where I hide during the early hours of night. 

I haven't the slightest idea of what the trio is planning but I think it has to do with that goblin, Griphook. They all spend an awful amount of time planning. I thought about asking if they needed help but they won't trust me anyway. So I resort to practicing and training all day. Bill Weasley is a great help in that way. He knows a very large amount of spells and has great advice. His wife, Fleur is good in that area as well but she's not as professional. Dean, Luna, and I train together as well. However, Ollivander wasn't able to make Dean a new wand. However, Luna an I let him use ours but it isn't the same as using your own. I wasn't too fond of Dean Thomas at first after he punched me in the face but he's not so bad now. We've all kind of become friends. Although, we do drive each other crazy at times. 

Days go by and Harry Potter and his three companions go to and escape from Gringott's bank. I have been made aware by Luna that the trio should be on their way to Hogwarts. She and Dean still have their DA coins and received a call to arms. So they have decided to go back to Hogwarts and I am going with them. Dean doesn't have a wand so that should make things more difficult for him but hopefully, he'll be able to win one eventually. 

So we head out to Hogwarts where we will find the DA and other 'mudbloods' wizards and witches, wherever they are hiding within the school. Luna tells me we will have to take secret tunnels to make it back to Hogwarts without being detected. So, the three of us group together and apparate in Hogsmeade. 

We land directly in a pub much to my surprise. Not a few seconds after we land, we are joined by a few others, Cho Chang, Ginny, Lee Jordan,  Fred and George Weasley. An old bearded man approaches us and leads us into one of his rooms. Him and Luna talk quietly and I suddenly feel left out, not knowing who the man is. However Luna soon fixes that problem, 

"Rosetta, "Luna says turning to me, "This is Aberforth Dumbledore. Aberforth, this is Rosetta Knight."

I nod my head to the man feeling completely astonished. He must be Dumbledore's brother! 

The man looks me in the eyes briefly and nods back. He turns around leading us further into the dark room and mutters something about vampires under his breath. He then walks over to a large portrait of a girl and swings it open revealing a tunnel behind it. The stones looked smooth and well used. Luna thanks the man and turns to the group,
