Peanuts

       Jungkook slouched as he walked up the steps to the police department. It was his first day back at work from the suspension and he felt a little embarrassed. He sighed and heavily opened the door to be welcomed by stench of the office.

       "Mr. Jeon please step into my office" Namjoon informed Jungkook as he walked by. Jungkook was surprised at first but then followed behind unaware of what will happen next.

       Namjoon sat behind his desk in his big rolling chair and placed his hands on his chin. Jungkook awkwardly sat in front of his desk as Namjoon was starring intending at him.

      "I'm sorry about the suspension" Namjoon apologized.

       "No it's fine, I understand" Jungkook replied not getting upset since the suspension allowed him to catch up with his siblings. It also allowed to clear his mind and relax from his stressful job.

      "Then I hope you understand this" Namjoon sighed and looked down before saying, "I'm putting you in the lower position because of the incident last week"

       "What?!" jungkook shot up from his chair.

         "I'm sorry but because of your actions you are no longer qualified to be a detective and will have to earn your way to the top again" Namjoon Explain.

        "but what about my case?"

         "Hoseok is taking your place so don't worry about it. He is just as good of a detective as you."

         "Then what will I be doing?"

           "Filing files and answering phone calls"

"That's not........"

        Jungkook frowned. He worked so hard to became the detective he was today, in fact he was the youngest detective there is. His pride was hurt, he went from the most respected detective to a low position that were only given to newbies. Jungkook was furious but he didn't want to argue with Namjoon. He knew that there was no use.

        "I understand sir" Jungkook bowed before existing Namjoon's office.

        On his way, Jungkook bumped into Taehyung.

       "Oh hey! You're back" Taehyung lit up.

         "yeah I'm back" Jungkook chuckled scratching the back of his head.

         "so will you be joining Hoseok and I on the case?" Taehyung asked with hopeful eyes.

         "No sorry, Namjoon is putting me on file duty" jungkook shrugged.

         "Aww that's too bad, we are so close to the case" Taehyung frowned.

        "Wait really?!"

         "Yeah, Hoseok found a pattern and he knows who the killer will go after next"

         "Who?"

           Taehyung frowned. He hesitated to tell Jungkook, from the looks of it he already had a bad morning and he didn't want to make it worse. He didn't want to be the one to break the heartfelt truth to Jungkook.

        "You should ask him yourself" Taehyung pointed to Hoseok who was walking by.

         "Hey Jungkook, glad to see you back what's going on here?" Hoseok cheerfully said.

        "Who's the next target?" Jungkook eagerly asked.

         Hoseok froze and Taehyung slowly walked away to avoid the awkwardness.

       "Who?!" Jungkook repeated grabbing onto hoseok's arm.

        "Look Jungkook, the killings are a pattern. This killer only targets business men. And all the business men of his previous kills all lead back to one person. You father."

        "What!? I don't understand what does this have to do with the next target?"

        "Jungkook! We believe that this killer has some conflict with your family. And with your dad gone, who else in your family is a business man?"

        Jungkook froze. He knew the answer. And he was terrified of it and what will come.

       "Jin" he finally whispered.

        Yoongi woke up to the sound of TV playing, he rubbed his eyes and checked his phone, it read 12:37 pm. Jungkook should be at work by now he thought to himself, confused yoongi got out of bed and walked into the living room where the TV was playing.

He yawned and stumbled into a pink haired man lying on the couch, watching TV and snacking on a bowl of trail mix.

"What the hell Jimin! What are you doing here!" Yoongi shouted above the noise of the TV.

Jimin turned his head and smiled when he saw Yoongi with his crazy mint bed head, "Oh Yoongi you're finally awake!"

"Why are you always here?! Don't you have a home?!" Yoongi rudely asked.

"Yeah but Jungkook has a bigger flat screen so.." Jimin explained munching on the trail mix.

Yoongi rolled his eyes, he could never peacefully sleep with the Jeons around. He was now too fully awake to go back to sleep.

"Come join me!" Jimin exclaimed, patting on the seat next to him.

"No thanks I'm good"

"Oh come on, I won't bite"

Yoongi thought for a moment and shrugged as he plopped down next to Jimin. He looked up at the screen and saw that Jimin was watching Running Man. He smiled as he also enjoyed the show.

He reached his hand over to the trail mix bowl. Jimin pulled away not wanting to share but after a glare from Yoongi, Jimin decided to share his snack. Yoongi smirked and grabbed a hand full of the mix.

Before he threw them in his mouth, he looked down and carefully examined the snack. It had peanuts in it! He then remembered that Jimin was severely allergic to peanuts. He looked over to Jimin with wide eyes, he noticed that Jimin was munching on the peanuts without a problem.

Jimin stopped and noticed Yoongi starring, he looked over at Yoongi with a confused look. "What?!"

"You're.... You're eating peanuts" Yoongi stuttered, pointing at the peanuts on Jimin's hands.

Jimin looked down and saw what he was eating, "Oh Fuck"
