My psycho brother (Jikook)

Promise

"Jimin Hyung?" Jungkook asked, turning his head to face the blonde haired man who kept his graze on the TV screen.

"Hmm mm??" Jimin hummed not tearing his attention away from the TV screen as he took a sip of coke from the can in his hand.

"Please promise me something." The younger boy spoke up.

"Okay"

"Promise me that you won't ever leave me again."

"Aishhhh really Kookie, you are so cringy ," Jimin laughed.

"Hyung I'm serious!" Jungkook pouted rolling his eyes since his brothers could never take him seriously. He was tired of always being treated like a kid.

Jimin sighed and decided to be serious. He settled down his coke can and turned to face Jungkook, giving him his full attention. "Kookie, I never left you in the first place. I was sent away. And every moment away from you guys I never stopped thinking about you, hyung, mom and dad."

Jungkook only looked down at his hands. He could hear the disappointment in Jimin's voice. "I'm sorry" Jungkook whispered.

"Kookie! How many times do I have to tell you, I forgive you! Like honestly it's in the past, I'm okay with it." Jimin chuckled ruffling Jungkook's hair.

Jungkook gave a big bunny smile.

"Awww look at my cute little baby brother." Jimin smiled pinching Jungkook's cheek.

Jungkook slapped away Jimin's hand.

"My little baby brother isn't so little anymore" Jimin laughed.

"Hyung you never answered my question." Jungkook reminded.

Jimin stopped laughing and ran his hands through his hair. "Look Kookie, I won't promise you that I'll stay by your side forever because I can't. I wish I could but one day something might happen and it will be my time to go. I don't want to make a promises that I can't keep."

        Jungkook went back to looking down at his hands. He was disappointed but understanding.

          Jimin noticed Jungkook's disappointed and tried to cheer him up by ruffling his hair. "Hey, don't be sad. No matter what we will always be brothers."

       Jungkook smiled and tried to ruffle his brother's hair but Jimin stopped him. "Uh-uh! I don't think so!"

Present day:

Jin, Jungkook and Yoongi all sat in the waiting room of the hospital, waiting for Jimin's operation. They sat exactly one seat away from one another to avoid the awkwardness. They sat in silence, all angry at each other to even speak to each other.

       Jin was mad at Yoongi since his reckless behavior caused Jimin to get into an accident. Yoongi was angry at Jungkook for being so rude to Jimin while he was bleeding out. And Jungkook who was the most angriest of all, was angry at both Yoongi and Jin for keeping such big secrets from him.

        The fact that they thought hiding the truth from him would protect him just fuels the fire that burned in Jungkook's heart. He hated how they thought he was mentally weak and that he couldn't handle the truth. He hated how everyone knew about Jimin except for him. He left betrayed by his own friends and family which deeply cut him like a knife.
