Jennie scoffed at the question.
"Just leave and my persona life alone."
Jungkook soon chuckled, but it was more of an annoyed laugh. "I would leave it alone if you weren't engaged for my best friend. Why don't you want me to tell him that we're related?"
"Because I feel like he would be 'nice and caring' just because of the fact that both of you are close." Jennie paused before continuing, "the concept of 'well I have to be nice to my fianceé because my best friend and her are cousins. It's the attempt of being respectful but it isn't true."
"So..." jungkook took a breath, "you expect him to treat you fairly if I don't mention we are cousins?"
"Maybe." Jennie wasn't even sure about that question. But she knew one thing, she didn't want to be pitied or be treated like a queen in a fake way. Jimin didn't need to know that her and Jungkook were cousins. And she truly respected Jungkook for keeping that a secret from Jimin.
"He's bound to find out at some point. So don't expect it to be kept with you until your grave."
"Why, do you plan on ratting me out?" Jennie challenged, leaning over to pinch his cheeks. Jungkook frowned, slapping Jennie's hand away.
"Not cool Jennie. Not cool."
"Anyway," Jennie sighed, "go to the pool. It'll be fun."
"You realize you can go to the pool right. It's not like he'll kick you out. He doesn't even own the pool. Also, you don't have to actually swim. You can even lay down on the beach lawn chair if you'd like."
"Thanks Jungkook. I'll think about it."
---
"Jimin, you go to the pool. I'll join in a little bit." Chaeyoung stretched her arms, before deciding to lie down peacefully on the lawn chair. She was prepared and brought some sunscreen to put all over her body. Men of a similar age were glued towards her direction as she bent down to put sunscreen on her legs.
Jimin obviously noticed, glaring at them all. Before jumping into the pool, he decided to take his towel, and block the view in an obvious manner of the boys.
Chaeyoung didn't seem to notice until she was eye to eye with a towel floating in the air...errr...jimin holding onto the towel.
"Uh, what are you doing?" Chaeyoung asked, looking at Jimin as he turned around to face her.
"There's a shit ton of perverts in this pool area. I should kick them out, since I"m responsible for the party-"
"What??"
"Surprise chae. I'm hosting a bbq and reserved the party for a few hours."
Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, not entirely surprised at the news. Jimin was a hardcore partier. The fact that they were in another country, wasn't going to stop him from hosting at least one party.
"Good for you. But I don't see anyone around."
"That's because we need to set up a few things first. The party doesn't start quite yet. There's still 30 minutes left."
"Aissshhh." Chaeyoung groaned, knowing what was up next, "that means that i have to help you and can't relax here right?"
"Correct babe."
A/N ~ whoops, I'm dragging this too much. It'll speed up next chapter :)
