So I finally went to my second favorite class of the day, Drama. I finally feel at home when I'm in my extracurricular classes. We are working on a play called "Bloodbath" it's about this girl with a group of friends that are trapped in a horror film. In each scene, there is a different threat and each time there is a scene change, the narrator states to the friends that someone is betraying them and the culprit is closer than we think. It's kind of like Scooby-Doo mixed with Pretty Little Liars. I'm playing as the main character. She ends up saving all her friends before someone get hurt. She's the leader and the protagonist.
"There! The wall, it moved!" said Meg, AKA Vivianna in the storyline. "Ok guys, I think we should not go towards the wall, there could be traps. Let's go down this hall instead," said Leo, AKA Gerald, the antagonist. "Let me check out this wall first. It seems suspicious to me," I said. My character always had to be so bold in most of the play. She is so different from me, yet I play her so perfectly. I go up to the wall, there is writing on it that says "Look Behind You" in Latin, which only my character can read ironically. "And cut!" says our teacher.
Meg comes up to me and says, "I don't know how you do it, but even I almost believed that you were Andromeda." Andromeda is my character. "Neither do I," I tell her honestly. We continue to edit our scenes and adjust our performance until the bell rings for the end of the school day.
As I walk home with Tootsie at my side, I start imagining what my idea could be about my Halloween costume. Tootsie looks at me with a curious gaze "whatcha thinking about Ocean?" She says. "... Do you wanna help with my plan to get my guy on Halloween?" I ask her. "Hell Yeah! Let's Go! What are we doing?" Great, she has so much enthusiasm, she's gonna need it for my plan. "Good," I say to her.
As we walked on, I noticed a familiar green muscle car. Liam. Tootsie also noticed the same car with a certain beauty in it. "Oh honey..." she said with sympathy. That's when I noticed the She-devil.
Cindy was in that car with the one guy I have ever had hardcore feelings for. She was right there beside him. Alone. Going who knows where. She gave me a smug look as both came up to a stop sign at the end of the street. "Oh hey there Rosy! Didn't see you there!" She said with her sickly sweet voice. "You know her?" Said the voice that I long to hear speak my name. "Oh, you don't? She was the one that had wolf destroy the frog lab last year." Wow her voice really gets on my nerves. I got kind of embarrassed at the memory. "Oh really? Bro that was interesting, I thought that wolf was gonna eat me, haha." Said Liam, "See ya around, wolf girl." Cindy replied in a slight snarl with "yeah, see ya Rosy." I might've been the only one to hear it since I hang with wolves, but Liam had shown no sign of the animalistic behavior.
I tear up a little as I know that she has probably gotten the gigantic leap that I'll never be able to reach. "C'mon Ocean, it's Okay. I bet that he is just giving her a ride somewhere. You know she bugs everyone for a ride," said Tootsie. She knew in my stance that I wasn't believing it at all. "Let's go to my safe place, please," I say with a slight pain-filled crack in my voice.
