Words in parenthesis (...) for a song is just the other person singing as a background.

After thinking over his choice of words for a second, it finally clicked in my head that he asked me out... On a date. I stared at him like a blubbering fool, I couldn't find the words ... or any words for that matter. Liam started to get nervous and looked down, he started to apologize for putting me in this situation before I interrupted him. "Yes.... um, I would love to go on a date with at some time." I smiled at him. Now it was his turn to be at a loss. Then he got excited and nearly hit the roof of his car from jumping. He reminded me of Bay whenever it was Christmas morning and he got the one gift he really wanted. I kind of giggled at his antics and watched him start to blush.

After talking over our schedules, we came up with Saturday at around 4 PM. That way we both had enough sleep after working on many things. We were going to a picnic and a movie, we were going to see a Marvel film. I was at a complete loss of an outfit for the date, so I brought over my nearest experts. My mother, Tootsie's mom, and Tootsie. To say my room was in complete chaos is an understatement. Tootsie tried to stay with my style while making me seem a bit dressed up, her mom tried to put me in a cute blouse with skinny jeans and cute knee high boots, and my mother tried to put me in a cute dress that was about knee length with a fuzzy jacket to keep me warm. After I finally decided to side with Tootsie's mom for the outfit, we all argued over makeup. Tootsie said to try something nude shade, her mom said to have a dark smoky look with dark red lipstick and wings that could cut someone, and my mother wanted to match my eyeshadow with my outfit and a nice pink blush and lipgloss. For this department, I decided on a natural, but smoky, look with the pink blush and a medium shade lip gloss. I didn't want to overdo it, but I did want to put some noticeable effort in how a presented myself.

The time came to meet Liam at my house so we could go to the park for the picnic then the movie later. When he finally showed up, my mother told me to wait in the kitchen until she called for me, she always a cliché. I did as I was told and waited for her cue. I could hear her talking to Liam and complimenting him on how he looked and said that I would love something, though she didn't specify on what it was. She finally called for me to come out of the kitchen since we couldn't do the whole "walk down the staircase and stare into each other's eyes" thing, she settled for this. I walked out and was instantly frozen in my spot. It was like my heart started to ram against my ribcage as a cartoon character heart would. Liam didn't dress in a suit and tie, but he dressed in a nice shirt and jeans. He wore more comfortable clothes, but still put an effort in his appearance, too. I looked in his hands and there was a bouquet of lavender colored roses. "Wow, you look stunning, Rose. I'm utterly speechless. U-um... these are for you." Liam said as he handed me the roses. I told him thank you and silently counted the stems, there were twelve. I looked down and blushed as he stared at me with a certain... sparkle in his eyes.

As we started to drive away, I put the first song that I thought of on the radio. It was "I Was Made For Loving You" by Ed Sheeran and Tori Kelly. Somehow, he knew it. I sang the first lyrics that came on. "A dangerous plan, just this time. A stranger's hand clutched in mine. I'll take this chance, so call me blind. I've been waiting all my life. Please don't scar this young heart, Just take my hand." Then I sang the chorus as I heard Liam hum along in the background. "I was made for loving you, Even though we may be hopeless hearts just passing through. Every bone screaming I don't know what we should do. All I know is, darling, I was made for loving you." Then Liam's melodious voice sang his part. "Hold me close through the night. Don't let me go, we'll be alright. Touch my soul (touch my soul) and hold it tight. I've been waiting all my life. I won't scar your young heart, Just take my hand." As the chorus came on, we both sang with words full of heartfelt emotions. " 'Cause I was made for loving you, Even though we may be hopeless hearts just passing through. Every bone screaming I don't know what we should do. All I know is, darling, I was made for loving you."

By this point, we already reached the park, but we kept the song going and looking at each other while we sang our parts. After the song finished, Liam smiled at me and got out of the car. He opened my door and held a hand out to help me out of the car, then proceeded to get the picnic basket. As we were walking to our set up area, he told me that the reason he picked that certain number of roses and color is because it stood for love at first sight and enchantment. We were going to sit at one of the benches that were around the park, the ones with a table attached. As we ate our light meal, we made small talk and got to know one another better. We both thought that the song I turned on was cheesy but really cute. I honestly thought that the song was a bit too soon to play for us, considering this is our first date, but was true nonetheless. This was probably because I've liked him for so long, in my opinion.  We made a few jokes and talked about our futures and the student drama going around. It felt like we have known each other for a lifetime, and I loved it.

Soon came the time to go and watch the movie. It was only a couple minutes away from the park, so it wouldn't be a long drive. We quietly fought over who paid for snacks and drinks, I eventually won. I thought that since he brought the food, drove us here, and paid for the tickets I could at least pay for the snacks we got. After the movie, we gushed about all the events and plot twists and whatnot. We drove around and just got to know each other better. I learned that he was a humorous type guy, he could make anyone laugh. He learned that I really love to read in my spare time and liked the cheesy romance scenes. After a couple of hours, he brought me home and told me goodnight. After a second of thinking, he grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it before taking his leave.

After I went inside, swooning on the inside and blushing furiously on the outside, my mother and both of our friends came running towards me to ask for the details. They wanted Every. Last. One. They even asked how far apart we were for everything, down to just about the centimeter! I ended up having to ease the beasts of their hunger for the romantic details and gossip. After a couple of minutes of asking and answering ridiculous questions, I finally told them I needed to clean up and go to sleep. I knew that Tootsie wouldn't ask a ton of more questions after I get out, but would ask a couple and listen to music with me. And that is how it went after I started to swoon at a few of the details, wishing I could live it all over again.
