As I realized the animals' possessiveness over me and Tootsie, he backed up a couple of steps. "Uh, would you mind calling them off, please? I just wanna talk." He said with slight fear and confusion at the once semi-friendly animals. "We don't control them. They adopted me as one of their own, and they will protect me at all costs." I stated, trying to keep my voice under control. I still hadn't vented to my wolves just yet, and part of my problem is standing right there in front of me. "Oh... okay then." He said.

"What do you want to talk about Liam?" said my friend. He stuttered for a brief second, "U-um, I wanted to talk about Rose's and my interaction earlier... I also wanted to apologize for Cinderella's behavior." Why would he apologize for her, oh, couples do that. They are probably together if Liam is here on her behalf. "Why apologize for her behavior, you didn't do it." I said, pretending to be Andromeda in my play. I quietly tap my foot while standing uncomfortably waiting for his reaction and answers. Phoenix, a brown-spotted wolf had shifted just a little bit closer to me for comfort. I quietly thanked her and the rest of my wolves' support. "Because she was out of line. And you were right, I was uncomfortable with her there. I know that I'm the next target of her's. She's not a girl that I would like to have, I have someone else in mind." I had looked down as he said this, right towards my wolves so he wouldn't see the happiness and sadness swimming in my eyes. I used my peripheral vision, though, and I thought I saw him looking at me. When I lifted my head, I noticed that he had looked away, well I guess I won't know unless Tootsie saw it, too.

Okay, he's not interested in her. I should be happy. Why am I not happy? Probably because now I know that he likes someone else. "What else do you want to say to me Liam?" I said while trying to keep my voice monotone. "Well, I would like to speak to you alone " said the manifestation of masculine beauty and my sorrows. Tootsie started to say something, but cut herself off and walked a distance away saying, "If you need me, Ocean, just scream. The wolves won't be the only one running your way." I nodded to her and showed my appreciation while letting my nerves kill me on the inside. All the wolves heard their cue to follow Tootsie, but Phoenix still stayed by my side. Nevertheless, I am her favorite person. I walked over to my rock and layed back on it while offering Liam a place to sit. "How did you know to come here?" I asked him. He told me that he asked around and a few people said they thought we went to the woods when we wanted some peace. I understood, he knew who to ask. "Um, I'm sorry that she is going after you, Rose. I don't know why she is, though. I mean, I don't think she is bisexual... I've only ever seen her use guys." He started to ramble a little. Mental note of another key as to why he is so adorable to me.

He looked like his normal self and so comfortable around my scenery that it almost shocked me. Almost. "So... um... yeah. I would really like to talk to you more. When Cindy isn't around, she makes everything so tense." He said. Well, there went my slightly perfect world when he mentioned the name of the devil incarnate. Phoenix growled slightly at her name, too. She doesn't like the stories that I come back with as much as I do. "She does, um, but... I don't blame her." I stuttered out, remembering who I was talking to and losing my acting cover-up. "What do you mean?" he asked out of pure curiosity and confusion. "Um... y-your... um... she... I don't know what I'm trying to say hehe." I start to blush at my mistakes of grammar usage. One would think I wasn't even in grade school yet. "I think I get it," he said, "I am one of the star football players. The one that isn't a typical jerk or complete jock. People don't know how I will treat them. I'm goofy and joke around with my friends, but I'm also really nice to complete strangers." He doesn't even know. I guess this guy really is oblivious to me, doesn't surprise me though. "Okay I got bored over there and it's about time for us to head back to the high school." said Tootsie. "Crap" me and Liam both said at the same time.

While we head back, Trinity introduces herself to Liam and tells him that her name isn't really Tootsie. They get along fairly well, but I could've sworn that he kept looking at me though. Again it's probably just my mind playing those horridly wonderful tricks on me. We went on our separate ways and continued with the dreadfully long day. I only caught a few glimpses of him before he had to go to football practice for majority of the afternoon. I glanced at the team on the field, as I normally do, and looked for his number of jersey. I then turned and noticed that Tootsie was waiting for me at our spot. By this time, we would either go home and work on something, to work, or to our wolves.

"So where to today, Ocean?" said Tootsie. "What day is today again?" I asked her. She told me it was Wednesday. "Well looks like I have to go do community service hours for honors society today. I promised Mrs. Burns that I would help with her flower shop yesterday." I told her. "Oh! Now that I think about it, I have to work on this big project for Anatomy and Physiology, too." said Tootsie. We parted our ways and I kept going to Sherry's Flower Shop. She lived in her small shop, and it's not that far from the high school. Since it's a small town, everything is close to everything else. Mrs. Burns is turning around 50 years old this year, and she is needing a bit more help tending to her flowers than she used to. I often went to her shop to gain a few community service hours, or sometimes I just hang around there. It is like going to the woods, without the long walk, plus a more floral escents. As I walk through the door, I hear the short tune of the bell that rings when the door is opened. Mrs. Burns walks from the back of her shop and notices me causing the noise. "Hey Mrs. Burns!" I tell her. "Dear, if I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times, just call me Sherry." the sweet elderly lady told me. Sherry Burns is actually related to one of the football players, so she knows exactly who I like and how he acts around 'family.' She noticed immediately that it wasn't one of my normal puppy-love days. "Oh honey, what's wrong?" she asked me. I told her everything.
