Dessert in the rainy morning

As the sun took to the sky, Min Yoongi took to his comforter.

He pulled the bulky blanket over his head, almost forgetting he had company.

Jungkook stirred and suddenly sat up.

Yoongi, however, continued to lay there, pretending to sleep.

The sky was coated in a thin layer of light gray clouds that intertwined with each other, creating countless patterns in the pale sky.

Jungkook glanced over towards Yoongi.

His attention led to the opened book displayed on his desk.

He wanted to look at the words illustrated onto the often used, beat up note book.

He restrained himself, not wanting to wake his Hyung.

He made his way delicately out of the room, finding himself rummaging through the pantry of Yoongi's kitchen to cook breakfast.

He found nothing to make a proper meal.

He figured Yoongi might have just ordered food most of the time.

He observed he living space as he looked for food.

The sink was only filled with cups and a few spoons and other various utensils that seemed to be used for stirring coffee.

Jungkook decided he would order in some food.

This, however, made him nervous.

He did not know what Yoongi would eat for breakfast.

He thought to himself intently when he spotted the trash can.

He made his way over and put his foot on the pedal, revealing the fairly deserted space.

There were only a few things in it, nothing related to food.

Jungkook would have figured the trash had recently been taken out if he hadn't seen the wearing on the trash.

One thing seemed to be a dog toy, another being a pen, the last thing being a clear plastic wrap that looked like it came off a CD.

The tape from the Objects was no longer sticky.

This was what majorly gave it away.

He sighed for numerous reasons.

1- he didn't know what to order
2- he was worried that Yoongi didn't eat, even though the food could have been thrown away in a different can or bag.
3- he wanted to know what the note said
4- he had work in 1 hour and 33 minutes.

His mind dwelled on the topics, his possible fate circling around his mind simultaneously.

He worked up the courage to investigate the older's room.

He knew he felt the light movement beside him, and briefly saw Yoongi fiddling around with the book before kook had fallen back to sleep.

Every passing second as he made his way to the room felt like an eternity.

He felt guilty for going through Yoongi's belongings, but he felt the need to check on Yoongi after the newly presented information of what took place last night.

He had gotten to the foot of the bed, 3/4's of the way there when his Hyung rolled over, not noticing Kookie at the end of the bed.

When they locked eyes, Yoongi instantly became nervous, knowing exactly what was written in the open book beside him.

His mind found the worst possible thing to have happened, and so he sat up quickly and tried to control his emotions.

Kookie tilted his head, wondering why Yoongi seemed so distraught.

"Ah, sorry. I was gonna try to surprise you by sitting on the opposite side of you.. didn't go as planned." Jungkook said, lying obviously.

Yoongi inaudibly sighed as he tossed his legs over the side of the bed.

He stood up, not closing the book so he wouldn't look suspicious.

He ushered Kookie to the living room.

"So, whats for breakfast? I would have called in something but I couldn't figure out what you wanted and.. there's not really any good in the pantry."

Yoongi nodded unenthusiastically.

"I don't really care what we get."

"Ice cream?!?"

"..I guess."

Jungkook jumped out of his seat and lunged for the front door.

"Ey, are we not eating here.... he's gone.."

Yoongi hesitantly followed the uncontrollable younger to the parking lot.

They had made it to the car and got in.

"What kind of bops do you have in here?!"

Yoongi cringed at the word choice.

The older pulled an aux cord out and handed it to Jungkook, reluctantly giving away his power.

Jungkook smirked and immediately clicked a playlist.

The beat began, and Yoongi regretted his decision.

Jungkook sang along.

"Baby can't you see.. IM CALLinG!1!!1! A GUY LIKE YOUUUU SHOULD WEAR A WARNINGGGHHHH!!!!!"

The constant dancing in his peripheral vision made this even more unbearable.

His dignity gradually drained by the second as he tried to ignore the performance beside him. The songs shuffled through a few times before they arrived to the ice cream parlor.

"WHATCHA GONNA DO WITH ALL THAT JUNK!1?!?2 ALL THAT JUNK INSIDE YOUR TRUNK!! IMMA GET GET GET GET YOU DRUNK!1!1!2. GET YOU LOVE DRUNK OFF MY HU-"

The music stopped playing as the key exited the ignition, leaving Jungkook still dancing, knowing the song was off.

The duo had exited the car and got into the store.

They made their way up to the different options of ice cream.

Yoongi knew he would get Reese's.

Jungkook seemed to be calculating the density of each ice cream, determining what would have the least bubbles, thus giving him the most ice cream.

He gave up and decided on cookies and cream.

(Side note)

I have an obsession for cookies and cream/ Oreo anything, and also Reese's or peanut and chocolate in general.

Peanut butter chocolate mixture is actually oxygen and I'd gladly die by eating it.

Oreo/ cookies and cream is just so great.

AND ALSO COFFEE FLAVOURED STUFF LIKE HOLY SMOKES.

I'm writing this at 3:32 AM btw.

RESUME~

They both ordered, Jungkook getting a large, Yoongi getting a mini.

They waited patiently as the man serving them prepared the ice cream as if they paid 1000 dollars rather than 10.

Yoongi sort of enjoyed this small detail, finding it amusing that the man cared so deeply about the quality of his ice cream that he in no way, shape, or form actually made.

The server brought the deserts out, not even questioning why they were eating ice cream at 8:27 in the morning.

Again, it's 3 something in the morning and I don't have the mental capacity to go back and grammar check this chapter so if something is not correct either get over it, comment about it and I'll go back later, or buy a pint of chocolate peanut butter ice cream and think about last week's math test.
