Yoongi happily carried the pair into his car, however, he realized he had nowhere necessarily safe to put them.

He didn't get them in a cage, in fact, he technically didn't legally own them.

The woman wasn't seen in the store on his way out either.

He knew the pets seemed to be alone, and he knew he couldn't let them live that way.

Because, even though they had each other, Yoongi knew over time one of them would die.

Even if that was years away, Yoongi felt more at ease by keeping them safer with him.

He delicately places the animals in his car and sat with them in the other seat as he scrolled through his phone, searching for another pet store to buy them supplies.

They immediately took to Yoongi.

They rubbed against him and never broke their gaze upon him.

They felt just as happy with him as he felt with them, and even if they hadn't known each other long, they had a connection.

Yoongi decided on a nice family store just a few blocks north, so he buckled up, held the small duo, and began driving to the store.

As he drove, he thought up names for the littles.

He would name the kitten Lucifer, and the puppy would be Zo.

(Side note)
These pets are actually named after my two cats I grew up with because I loved them so much and wanted to honor them.

My male cat was named Lucifer after the cat from Cinderella because he looked like him (but cuter)

My female cat was named Zoey.
She acted like my mom, and we spent every second together.

I sadly didn't set up the story correctly to properly fully honor Zoey so in the future or maybe in a different story I'll add her in because she was my literal everything, and I know Lou Lou had a low key soft spot for me.

I'm about to write an actual love note for cats so if you have a soft spot for kitties here ya go but it's gonna be cheesy </3

I miss you so much ZoZo and LouLou bear ❤️ I know you're cats and you can't read (OR CAN YOU SIDBFJEJ) but I miss you and love every memory you left me with ❤️ stay classy and sassy my little kitties, rest easy.

Zo crawled off Yoongi and took interest in the seatbelt on the passenger side, his partner in crime joining him.

They pawed at it, occasionally missing and hitting each other. Yoongi figured they were distracted enough for him to run inside and grab some quick stuff.

He left the air conditioning on full blast so they couldn't possibly overheat.

He locked the car door and secured it intensely just Incase anyone tried to steal his precious children.

He made his way into the store and jogged around, probably seeming rude, but he didn't care.

He wanted them to have everything they needed.

He wound up spending a large sum of money on his new buddies, but this didn't really phase him.

He had a new job anyways.
