Yoongi looked at Jin Woo as guilt of everything he had done over the past week flooded his mind.

Jin Woo had been beat up by somebody, and Yoongi let all of his own problems trail off until he could help Jin Woo.

Jin Woo slowly approached Yoongi and stared into his eyes filled with stories.

Jin Woo quickly opened his arms and hugged Yoongi tight. Yoongi wanted to stay limp, but when it was Jin Woo, he somehow felt like it was not right to just let Jin Woo give without receiving.

Yoongi held Jin Woo tight.

They both needed it badly.

They both simultaneously pulled away and Yoongi was the first to ask what happened.

"My appa drank too much.. and eomma became sad.. eomma told appa to stop, and he started hitting her and repeatedly screaming horrible words at her. I told him to stop but he just hit harder. She fell to the floor and barely moved...

The he turned to me."

Yoongi felt his blood boil.

If Jin Woo didn't need to be cared for at that time, Yoongi would have sped to that house and beat the shit out the the father until his knuckles bled more than Jin Woo's father.

He knew Jin Woo needed an example and a guardian, so he resisted.

He vowed though, that if he ever saw Woo's dad being shitty, he would pimp slap him.

Yoongi pulled Jin Woo along and they got into Yoongi's car.

Yoongi drove off, his music calmly playing a soft song to calm Woo down.

Woo sung along, and Yoongi adored it.

The younger child mumbled along;

"Blackbird singing in the dead of night.. take these broken wings and learn to fly.."

Yoongi felt at peace in the moment.

Jin Woo helped Yoongi stay calm.

"Woo, can I nickname you something like Jio or maybe-"

"Wooie?!"

"You're not the lead character in Star Wars, Woo."

Jin Woo gave a fake frown and Yoongi continued;

"We can just keep Woo for now."

"Because I'm so entertaining?"

"No, it's because I'm not going to waste my breath on saying your whole name 6,000 times."

Woo rolled his eyes as they turned down the street where Yoongi's apartment was.

He noticed a familiar blue Prius parked in a familiar spot.

"Fucking Namjoon."

Jin Woo looked confused.

"Who's Namjoon?"

"A close friend."

Jin Woo nodded and unbuckled his seat belt, eager to get inside.

Yoongi reaches over and re-buckled Woo like a mother, and then took off his jacket and placed it over woo's bruises.

"We need to get you clothes anyways.

Woo pulled the sleeve on, only to find that it was a perfect fit.

"Yoongi, you tiny little man child."

Yoongi turned and stared into Woo's soul.

"If you ever dare to say that sentence again, I will drive your happy little ass to Nona's grocery and dump coconut milk down your throat."

"Whoa, Yoongi I'm underage!!"

Yoongi sighed and almost wanted Namjoon to see them with the sass Jin Woo gave.

Yoongi turned the car around and drove a nearby thrift shop.

He quickly ran inside and had Jin Woo lock the doors, and not unlock them until further notice.

Yoongi returned with several articles of clothing that Woo was pleased with.

They started to travel back to the apartment, and once returning they noticed Namjoon's car was gone.

Yoongi grabbed the bags full of clothes and Jin Woo just followed Yoongi.

They arrived to the room and quickly made their way inside.

They settled in and Woo yawned immediately.

Yoongi quickly traveled to his bedroom and tried to hide all the empty bottles and scribbled books he could before he allowed Woo to sleep there.

He returned to the living room and woo looked at him eagerly, clearly wanting to know where he could sleep.

Yoon nodded his head, telling Woo to follow.

He pointed to the bedroom door and turned around, going to the couch to sleep.

Woo happily entered the bedroom, and suddenly felt guilt rush over him.

He wanted Yoongi to have good sleep too.

He didn't know how to approach it, so he just plopped down o. The bed and feel asleep almost immediately.

Yoongi laid on the couch and pulled the cord of the lamp so to make the room pitch black.

Yoongi closed his eyes and tried to sleep.

Hours passed, and he finally fell asleep.

Only a few hours later, Jin Woo entered the living room only to find sleeping Yoongi.

Jin Woo decided to wake him up, as he wasn't sure what to do as the elder slept.

As Jin Woo approached, he noticed how tired Yoongi really looked. Just like his own mother had almost every day.

Woo decided that rather than waking Yoongi up, he would sit beside him and try to fall back asleep.

He succeeded, but soon after Yoongi had awakened.

Yoongi carefully turned his head to see if Woo was asleep, and found that he was in a deep sleep.

He carefully removed himself from the couch and made his way to the kitchen. He began preparing some eggs and toast.

once he removed the eggs from the hot cast iron pan, the toast popped simultaneously. He placed them near each other, but far enough to allow any sauce woo used to have room.

Yoongi sat the plate at the small dining table beside the couch.

Yoongi dragged himself over to Woo and shook him awake.

Woo stirred until he finally awoke, his eyes staying in a squint position.

Woo happily got up and using the smell of the food, followed the trail to the other side of the living room where the decently placed dining table stood.

Woo deeply appreciated the effort put into the dish.

He identified each little thing Yoongi did that made Woo feel known.

The way the toast was perfectly buttered, the way the sauce covered the scrambled eggs perfectly in all the right spots.

He loved it.

He remembered when his mother had done this only a few years back.

and than his dad lost his job.

And than his dad found a bad coping mechanism.

And than Jin Woo became concerned he might never have a nice morning like this again.
