Kagami and Link looked at one another. A little shaken up, but determined to finish the job. It was too late to back down, and they knew that they would have to face something difficult at some point. At this very moment, it was time to save Zora's Domain without fear.
Link took out his sword, shaking off the fear. "We didn't come here to quit. Let's fight this and return to the domain. We don't want to have the prince waiting." His last sentence had a teasing tone to it.
"Now it's not the time to be saying things like that!" Kagami took out a bow and arrow, minding her distance.
Waterblight Ganon charged a spear at Link, but he had the dodged the attack just by a centimeter. Kagami saw an opening, shooting multiple bomb arrows. Link quickly turned his head towards her. "You had those?!"
"I told you I had some useful weapons. Now use your sword! It's vulnerable at the moment!" Link rushed over to the creature, hitting it as many times as he could to weaken it. The creature got right back up, teleporting nearby Kagami this time. "Damn it!" Kagami swiftly backed away from the creature who appeared behind her.
"Look out!" Link cried out as Waterblight Ganon charged its spear at Kagami. She did a backflip as she dodged the attack, and at the same time, Link had shot a shock arrow to take it down. "Do it!" Since Kagami was right near it, she switched to her sword, managing to attack a lot of times.
The creature let out a loud shriek, signing that it was getting weaker, but not willing to give up. The floor suddenly turned into water with only four solid blocks of ground that were separated. Kagami was trying to keep her balance. "What in the world?!"
Link looked at Kagami who was looking around the room, eyeing the creature with full focus. Waterblight Ganon locked a target on her, ready to shoot its laser. "Watch out!" Like cried out. Kagami managed to dodge the laser, but it ended up knocking her into the water. "Kagami!" Link felt like a target was locked on him this time. "This isn't good..." He dodged the laser on time, jumping into the water, swimming to a different platform.
Kagami raised up from the water, taking a breath of fresh air. She swam as fast as she could on a platform. The creature locked its target on Link again, not noticing that she was there. Kagami shot more bomb arrows at the creature, taking it down. "It's almost down!" Link hit the creature with all he had, hitting it with one of his best weapons. Out of nowhere, the creature shot a block of ice at him, making Link fly across the room and into the water. "Link!"
Determined, Kagami leapt onto the platforms to get closer to Waterblight Ganon. She went under the creature, hitting with everything she got. Though she was weakening it even more, it wasn't enough. The creature managed to slash her on the arm, covering her arm in blood. In pain, Kagami held her arm, feeling a little bit hopeless.
Link raised up from the water, swimming towards a platform. When Link caught his breath, he noticed that Kagami has been injured. "Back out of the fight! I'll take care of the rest!"
"We need to defeat him together!"
"I'm not going to have you risk your life! I'm not going back to the prince, and telling him that you've been badly hurt! Think about how he would feel!"
Kagami looked down, balling her hands into fist. "Very well." She backed out of the battle, taking out some medical herbs and began treating herself.
Waterblight Ganon locked its target on Link, shooting its laser at him. Link kept his distance from the creature, aiming a bow and arrow at it. The creature began to shoot blocks of ice towards him. "Oh no..." Link managed to dodge them, but there was one that he didn't see coming. That block of ice knocked him onto the ground, making him let go of his bow and arrow.
