Kagami's plan of spending time with her mother was taking her to the hot springs that Kagami had often spent time at. The two were in the steaming water, sitting right across from each other. Vivian let out a relaxed sigh with her eyes closed. "This feels so nice..."

   "Yes, it does."

"It's been a while since we did this together."

   "It has..."

"I hope that Hayate is feeling better. Poor thing lost his parents, correct? That's what I got out of it."

"Yes. He has told me that he has lost his parents at a young age, and has been a traveler ever since."

"That's interesting. Hayate is an interesting guy."

"Very..." The lingering questions that has been trapped in Kagami's mind wanted to come out, and it felt like the best time to ask her mother since they were alone. "Mother..."

   "Yes, honey?"

"Do you mind if I ask some questions? To be honest... I've been meaning to ask a few things."

"Of course, Kagami. You can ask me anything. What do you want to know?"

"The first question is... What did Ryuma do to you while you were imprisoned?"

Vivian opened her eyes, letting out a sigh. "Well... He would constantly ask if I want to be with him since Takashi is gone now. I refused all times, but for some reason he wouldn't give up."

Kagami just blinked, hearing this news that was unexpected. "Ryuma has feelings for you?"

"Ryuma has always had feelings for me, ever since I met your father. Of course your father and I met first, and when I went into Uratori Village the first time... Ryuma had always admired me and followed me around."

Kagami just blinked even more, couldn't imagine something her greatest enemy would do. It felt strange that her uncle has feelings for her mother, but it made sense of why she wasn't killed. "My next question is..." She wanted to change the subject as she felt strange, and also wanted to know if her mother knew this answer or not. "A while back ago, I had to traveled to Kakariko Village, because Sidon had turned into a Hylian by a Yiga Clan member. While I was there, a kind lady named Impa informed me that they had found remaining things at Uratori Village, and I have found our family portrait, but behind the portrait was a picture of father when he was younger and Ryuma. When I asked about that, Lady Impa had told me a story of how father was supposed to be the rightful emperor, but gave up the title. Did you know any of this?"

Vivian grunted at the question, and was for some reason smiling. "I have told Takashi over and over to tell you this. I knew that you were going to eventually learn about it, but he insisted to not tell you until you were old enough to understand. Yes, your father was supposed to be the rightful emperor, but he gave up the title and handed it over to Asuma, who is his cousin. It all started around when Tsukino was born, and Tsukino had almost died in child birth. Of course he had survived, but in result, was born ill. Your father did not want Tsukino to go through the life of a prince who had a severe illness, being expected to eventually rule with his condition. Your father didn't want to put that kind of pressure on his first born son, and put his health above all. That's also when I started to learn about medicine since I wanted to find a way to make Tsukino better. Your father and I both agreed to live an ordinary life, trying to make a good life for Tsukino and give him the attention and treatment he needs."

"I see..." Kagami sunk lower into the hot water, thinking to herself of what had occurred before she was born. "Final question..." Kagami bit her lower lip, thinking she might sound crazy if her mother had no idea. "While I was at Kakariko Village, Sidon and I went to the Fairy Fountain nearby to get the antidote to turn Sidon back to himself. While we were there, the fairy referred to me as Aylin's child, and sensed the power within me. Do you know who Aylin is?"
