The four of them, along with the horses, all stared at the eerie forest that was covered in fog. The fog was so thick that you could get lost in it if you weren't careful.

Hayate looked at everyone, nodding his head once. "It's obvious that we have to stick together so we don't lose each other. They don't call these the Lost Woods for nothing."

Link nodded in agreement. "The horses should stay here until we get back. I know they would be frighten if we had them come along with us."

Kagami stepped forward to be ahead of everyone, coming to a stop to look around with her eyes. "I see there are torches that leads down to a path. If we follow them, they will most likely lead us to the sword."

Sidon was observing where Kagami was looking at, squinting his eyes. "But Kagami, what if the torches stop? Then what?"

Kagami was thinking to herself. "Well... If that happens... We will have to stay at the last torch, and see which direction is best to head towards."

Hayate went in front of Kagami, looking at the torches ahead. "I can lead while following the torches. Let's stay close everyone. Who knows what might happen if we don't."

The four of them started to head deeper into the Lost Woods while following the torches that were leading them down a path. It had taken them into a semi-circle. The torches were fairly close to each other so it felt like they were heading towards the right direction so far.

As they were following the torches, the torches came to a stop. There were two torches that were fairly close to each other that stop at a huge tree. The four had reached the dead end of torches, now trying to find a way to the sword without the torches.

Link was looking around with his eyes, seeing that the path had continue to the west. "Guys... I think I know where to go. But we still have to stay close. The fog is getting thicker every time we get deep into these woods."

Sidon had his hand touching Kagami's shoulder so he wouldn't lose her. "It's getting so hard to see anything. I'm worried that we might get lost."

Kagami nodded. "You're right. I can barely see the trees anymore..."

As they were following the path carefully, they had heard a noise that had all of them slightly jump. Instinctively, Sidon had withdrew his sword at his side, hearing the noise growing louder as he slashed whatever was coming, knocking onto the ground. As he got a closer look, he realized what it was. "Oh dear..."

Hayate stared at the poor animal Sidon had killed on adrenaline, squeezing his eyes while inhaling loudly. "Father, how could you?! You killed Bambi!"

Kagami just blinked at Hayate, not knowing if he was joking or being serious. "What are you talking about, Hayate?"

Hayate shook his head dramatically, his lips quivering. "The poor fawn from that one tale... It's so sad..."

Sidon put his sword away, his expression gloomy. "I didn't mean to take down such a young animal... Such a thing must have gotten lost and trying to find its parents, but I..." He couldn't finish his sentence as his guilt was overcoming him.

Kagami took a hold of his hand, gently squeezing it. "It's alright, Sidon... Though it is sad... We must continue through the woods. If it will make you feel better, we can give this fawn a proper burial before moving on."

As she said that, Link had a hole prepared at the bottom of a tree. Both Hayate and Sidon were carrying the baby deer, carefully putting it into the hole, putting dirt over the spot. The four of them gave a moment of silent and prayers before moving forward into the Lost Woods.
