The next morning, Kagami was awake bright and early, continuing her sword training as it felt like the time for her to face Ryuma was drawing near.

While she was training, Kagami was organizing her thoughts of who she was fighting for. Kagami sliced one target in half, letting out the words, "For my lover." And another, "For my child." And another. "For my mother and father." And another. "For my brother." And another. "For my best friend." And another. "For my cousin." And another. "For someone in need." And the last one. "For me." Every time she had said that, Kagami sliced a piece of thick wood with her sword as there were pieces of wood surrounding her.

Kagami was panting hard, wiping the sweat from her forehead. Her hair was in a half bun as the rest of her hair was down, having the hairpin from Mariko in the bun. In addition, the pendant and ring was on her as well. She had on a fighting outfit that's very similar to a qipao dress with an apron skirt.

"Kagami." She turned around to see Sidon was there. She put her sword away at her side as Sidon was walking towards her. "May I have a moment of your time?"

Sidon gestured her over to a huge log they could sit on and talk. Kagami looked up at him with a somewhat confused expression. "What did you need to speak about, Sidon?"

Not answering right away, Sidon got a hold of both of her hands, squeezing them tight with his. "Kagami... You know just how much I love you, correct?" Kagami nodded in response, waiting for him to say more. "I am concerned about your battle with your uncle, but I believe that you can do it."

A smile appeared on Kagami's face, knowing he would say something like that. "Your words always gives me courage, Sidon. Especially in times like these."

Sidon smiled at her words. "I'm happy to hear that. I feel the same way about you. You give me so much courage that I have never felt before. I'm so glad to have fallen in love with you."

Kagami felt her heart skip a beat at his last sentence as she couldn't help but blush. "I'm happy to have fallen in love with you as well..."

Feeling a kiss upon her hand, Kagami looked into Sidon's eyes, which were filled with love and seriousness. "Kagami... I know that I have said this before, but I wish to make it official." He got off the log, bending one knee onto the grass. Kagami was looking at him with surprised and anticipating eyes, her heart racing. Sidon had taken out a small case that fits well into his hands, opening it to reveal a beautiful pearl ring. "Kagami... You make me the happiest Zora in the world. I would be honored to have a woman that's amazing and wonderful as you as my wife. Kagami... Will you do the honor of marrying me?"

Kagami started tearing up with happiness, nodding her head with a smile. "Yes, Sidon. I would be honored to be your wife."

Sidon was grinning from ear to ear as he lifted up Kagami from the log, her feet unable to touch the ground as he was carrying her. He brought his face close to hers as his lips met hers.

Lost in the moment, Kagami had cupped Sidon's face, deepening the kiss. Surprised at her boldness, Sidon returned the deepened kiss as he held her ever so tightly.

Their kiss was interrupted when they heard a popping sound, having their heads turn. There was Hayate with a party popper, clapping his hands eagerly. "It's about time this happened! I could cry right now..." Hayate sniffed as he said that, wiping his finger on the edge of his eye.

Kagami and Sidon smiled at one another as Sidon put Kagami down on her feet. Sidon held her left hand, placing the ring onto the finger where it belonged.

Kagami stared at the beautiful shiny pearl ring on her finger, looking up at Sidon. "Sidon... It's beautiful."

"I agree, the ring is beautiful, but the one wearing it is even more beautiful." Sidon knew that would make her blush, as it did, and kissed her once more while bending down to her level.
