The sun has just risen, the Zora people were already starting their daily routine. Kagami had just got done with her morning routine as her hair was just a little damp from her bath. Her heart felt happy from her birthday, spending that day with the prince was almost like a dream. She shook herself from that thought as she was about to walk down the stairway. "Wait, Kagami!"
Kagami turned around to see the prince catching up with her. "Good morning. Sidon."
Sidon smiled and struck a pose. "Good morning to you as well!" There was a short pause before he became serious. "I have duties to attend to for the day, but I wanted to see you before I do them. What will you be doing today?"
"I will be walking around freely as I already taken care of what I needed to do. Perhaps I shall get to know the people more."
"What a splendid idea!" Sidon struck another pose while smiling. "I should get going. I'll be back as soon as I can." They said their goodbyes as they parted ways. Sidon was heading towards the throne room, and Kagami was walking down the stairs.
As Kagami got to the bottom, she saw a female Hylian traveler exiting out of the inn. She didn't know that there was a traveler here, so she thought of welcoming the traveler to the domain. Kagami walked up the traveler, slightly bowing. "Good morning to you, traveler. I welcome your stay at Zora's Domain."
The traveler's eyes sparkled. "Whoa! I had no idea there was a Hylian girl here!" The traveler held her hand out. "My name is Lucilla, but you can just call me Lucy for short. What's your name?"
Kagami reached for Lucy's hand, forming a handshake. "My name is Kagami of Urartori Village."
Lucy's jaw dropped. "Uratori Village? You mean the village that got burned down overnight?" She saw Kagami's expression drop, realizing that she said something insensitive. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to be harsh... I'm sorry for your loss."
Kagami picked herself up, putting on a strong face. "It's alright, I know you didn't mean any harm by it. It's true that my village got burned down, and I'm the last survivor. The Zora people let me live here as their prince found me injured."
"They are sure nice enough to let you stay here! I heard that the divine beast nearby got tamed. How did that happen?"
"The Hylian champion and I freed it from the darkness. That's how I was able to gain trust from the ones who first thought of me as dangerous."
"The Hylian champion?! I thought that was like... Over 100 years ago or something? How is the Hylian champion still alive?"
"I thought so as well, but he has been revived." Kagami noticed that they have been talking for a while, and thought that the traveler would let to sightsee before venturing off elsewhere. "I will let you look around the domain in peace."
Lucy grabbed onto Kagami's arm. "Wait, what are you going to do for the day?"
"I'm going to pass the time until the prince is finished with his duties."
"Why are you waiting for the prince?" Lucy's confused expression then turned into a smirk. "Oh, I think I get it... You want to spend alone time with him, don't you?"
Kagami's face turned slightly red. "It's not that. He just likes talking with me about whatever he wants to say."
"Whatever you say, Kagami! Do you mind if I hang out with you for a while? I can always sightsee later."
Kagami didn't want to be rude to the guest visiting for the day. "You may do as you wish."
Going where Kaze was, the two girls were sitting on the grass, making some crafts. In front of Kagami were at least four origami cranes, and she was pricking a needle in each to sew them onto something. Lucy was trying to put the string in the tiny hole of the needle, but to no avail. "It's no use... I can never get this string in..."
