"Time to get ready for hell....I mean school" I get out of bed and hop in the shower
After I get out the shower I put on a sad outfit (my mood) because I'm just not in a happy mood

Two loud honks interrupt my thoughts and I go to my window and see that is chads car outside waiting for me
I grab my book bag and head out the door and hop in chads car
"Hey ch-" but the person next to me is not chad
It's Jax
"Why the hell didn't I look before I hop in the fucking car" I say trying to open the car door but i can't because there safety locks on the door
"Chad asked me to give you a ride to school, he said he'll be there later" he says pulling off
"Why out of all people he asked you" I pout
"You think I want to be stuck in a car with you" he whispers that last part
"What is chad doing that is so important he had to ask you to take me to school" I ask
"He's volunteered to help set up for the carnival in town" he says sounding bored "any more questions princess"
"Wait did you say a fair?" I ask
"Yeah its a new fair, but it's only staying for a week,why"
The fair, the must be where the fourth clue is
"The fourth what" Jax ask as we pull into the school parking lot

"Nothing, thanks for the ride" I say pulling the car door but immediately remember that it's locked
*chuckels* "I'll get that for you" Jax gets out the car and opens the door for me
"Rose?" He ask once I get out the car and it catches me by surprise because he Has not called me by my real name in a long time
"Do you, maybe want to go to the fair tonight, with me. Chad said he won't be able to make it on the first night, and I heard that the first nights the best" he ask nervously
Why the hell is he nervous, I should be the one whos nervous, after what he did to me I don't even think I should trust him
"I don't know Jax"
"It would be like old times, we can go just as friends" he smiles
"Okay Jax, I'll go to the fair with you, but only as friends" I smile "see you later alligator" I walk into school
After second period was over there was still no sigh of chad
"Hey rose" my friend Noah says walking up to me "where's your boyfriend chad" he tases
"Noah you know me and chad broke up a long time ago, we decided to just stay friends,and I have no clue where he is" and then I get a message
Chad: Hey red, I'm feeling a little sick, I won't be at school today but there's a carnival in town, I'll be able to take you tomorrow, I think that's where the note might be, love you and have a good day
Me: kk, hope you feel better
"Ouuuu who you texting" Noah says trying to look into my phone
"Chad, he said he won't be able to come to school today, he said something about being sick" I tell Noah
"Okay well I think we should get to guy before the bell rings" Noah says
"Yeah I think your right"
* * * "You ready" Jax says once I answer my door
"Yeah, I guess so" am I really going to the carnival with Jackson wright, after everything he's done to me
"What's wrong, you look like you saw a ghost" he asks me realizing that I haven't moved a step
"I'm just not sure I want to go......with you" I answer honestly
"Listen rose, I'm not the same person I was, and that night was a mistake, you know I was drunk" he says "you know if it could take back everything that happened that night I would"
"Okay, let's go I guess" I walk towards his car
The only thing that's left on my mind is how I'm going to get that note without Jax noticing
