Ashton Parker is a boy with no home. No family. He spent all his nineteen years in an orphanage. He never met his parents. He doesn't know how they look like. He doesn't even know if they're alive or dead either. The only thing that he knows about them is that they had to leave him.
He always wanted a family. Even if it wasn't his biological one. All he wants is to be loved. To have someone to call a mother and a father. But he never had this chance. He was always the unwanted kid. Everytime, the 'new parents' would come to adopt a child, Ash was never in their options. He would always cry when they were adopting other kids, leaving him in that orphanage once again.
"There'll be your time, honey. I promise." his nanny would always say to comfort him. But he knew, it would never come. And so it didn't. As the years were passing, he grew older and older, as a result nobody would want him anymore. Now he knows it's too late. As soon as he turns twenty, he decides to leave the orphanage and start living his life on his own. He knows it will be hard. He never went outside the orphanage alone before. Except for some excursions they would go all together, when he was younger.
Now he knows he has to find a job and have responsibilities. But the main reason of leaving the orphanage is to meet someone. He wants friends. To be free. But it won't be easy. All these years there alone, have made him anti-social. He has huge trust-issues, making him violent or even disrespectful sometimes.

On the other side of Sydney, there's Mike Sky. He just graduated High School and has to think for his future. But he doesn't really know what he wants. He was always the rebel of his family and school. He would always be in trouble with bullies. Then, he would argue with his parents all night. His home is broken. His parents are both alcoholic and of course inappropriate for him. They would go at rehab multiple of times, but they always ended up like this again. Mike is sick of it. He's sick of living with his parents. He knows they never loved him anyway. He was an "accident". He can't wait to leave this house and live on his own. But what would he do? He never felt like he fit in. All he wants is to escape. He wants to runaway and feel free for sometime in his life without caring about his parents' problems.
He wants something different. To do something his own. He would also like to meet someone that would save him from himself.
Friends. He never had those. At school, he was always known as the 'bad boy'. As for the girls? He would just bang them and then leave them, like it was nothing. And he hated that. He wants to meet someone special. Someone to know it'll be worth to be together. Without caring about the gender. Just someone that would accept him for his self.
