(Updates: Alright, half of us or rather just a small amount...(like me) Didn't know that Milk and Coffee were siblings. So I'm sorry if I accidentally wrote about possible incest. Sorry, I'll have it taken down if wanted though.)

Mooncake rushed about the kitchen, looking excited. "It's the Mid-Autumn Festival tonight!!! Woohoo!! Wine to drink!!" She cheered as jumped up on to the kitchen counter.

Holding a spoon, you used the handle to poke her in the calf, "Please get off the table, Mooncake. We make food on there," you scolded her with an amused smile on your lips. She would have taken you seriously if only you didn't have that smile.

She let out an 'Aww' before sitting down on the edge of the counter, "Don't ruin my fun, Master Attendant~! I'll clean the counter later. What type of mooncakes are you making for the festival?" she asked, glancing over at the oven where Milk busied herself with pulling out a tray of mooncakes.

It didn't take long for her to jump off the counter and rush over to Milk. The poor food soul backed away in bewilderment but was quickly stopped by a hand on her back.

"Careful Milk, I still need to get the last batch." A warm and deep voice cautioned. Coffee stepped from around the oven and flashed her a smile before gently nudging her forwards. Milk regained her balance, nodding with a small smile of gratitude towards the male and proceeded to move out of the way so he could pull out the last tray. The duo murmured to each other as they exited, pointing between the different mooncakes they carried.

While this happened, Mooncake zoomed back over to you and hid behind you, "Is it just me or do they appear closer?" She whispered as she peeked over your shoulder. You heard her snicker simperingly.

"Yeah, they do. isn't that good though?" You said with a smile. And all this happened at the cost of you and Black Tea getting lost in the forest.

"...But Master Attendant, why stop there when it can be something more?" Mooncake said with a mischievous grin. She had something planned, and you did not like it one bit.

(Now that you thought about it if food souls ate food that is them but less humanoid, does it count as cannibalism? Get what I mean?)

It was now evening, and everything was ready. At the backyard of the restaurant, all the lanterns had been lit and hung up, and the mooncakes were cut up to perfection. Excited chatter and screams could be heard all around as your food souls enjoyed this night.

"Coffee, can I request for your help?" Milk walked up to the food soul, holding a goldfish lantern. The candle in her lantern had been blown out due to the wind. Well, she thinks it's the wind, but it was honestly Mooncake's fault.

"Of course, anything for a lovely lady." he winked at her, but she remained unfazed. "And here I thought you would have at least swooned at my words," He placed a hand to his chest, feigning hurt as he guided her to one of the set-up tables.

Milk shook her head at Coffee's action before following him and setting down the lantern. "I've merely grown used to your words, Coffee." She said, "I have also heard from Master Attendant that people and souls alike behave strangely during a full moon."

Coffee turned to stare at her with an expression that made her let out a small laugh. "Apologies. If it helps, I think that regardless of a full moons affect you're perfect just the way you are."

He felt his cheeks heat up a bit at her words. 'Ah, shouldn't I be the one speaking sweet things to make Milk blush? Not the other way around.' Is what he thought as he picked up the nearest lighter and relit the candle in her lantern.

"Here you go~." Coffee said, picking up the lantern by the stick and handed it back to her. "Have you eaten any mooncake yet?"

"No. Would you like to go and eat some together?" Milk asked as she looked down at her lantern, hoping the fire wouldn't go out again.

"My my, you're being quite forward tonight Milk. Let's get going then," She looked a bit confused at his words as she walked with him over to the table you sat at.

The duo suddenly changed their minds when they spotted you trying to calm down Mooncake and Yellow Wine, who were in the middle of a heated argument. Coffee gestured for Milk to stay where she was and walked towards the table.

He went by unnoticed as he picked up a plate of sliced mooncakes and walked back over to her, "Let's go somewhere quieter to enjoy this shall we?" Milk nodded in agreement and pointed to the large oak tree, lanterns hanging from its pretty branches.

"That place seems like a good place to eat," Milk stated before guiding him over to the tree, the lantern illuminating their way there.

Milk and Coffee sat next to each other with the plate and lantern in between them, the atmosphere around them peaceful and warm. Their view of the full moon has been obscured by the leaves, but it was alright. Coffee glanced over at Milk, silently admiring the way the shrouded moon turned her hair silver and how the candlelight made her eyes glow. He wanted to reach out to her. But not yet, he told himself, it's not the right time for that. The rest of their evening was spent chatting and nibbling on the mooncake under the tree.
