Breathing out a deep sigh, Pudding leaned back against his chair as he held his pen in his hand. He had just finished arranging Jello's schedule.

"Have to remind Master Attendant of Jello's upcoming concert next month..." He said quietly to himself. Just as he got up from his chair and picked up his planner, the door to his room burst open.

Pudding let out another sigh. "Jello, you can knock you know."

The green-haired girl stood at the doorway, dressed in casual clothes and sunglasses. "Sorry, I'm just excited! Today's my day off right, Pudding?" She asked excitedly and skipped over to him. "Why not we go out to town together? There's a new shop I want to check out!"

Looking down at Jello, he maintained his dead-pan expression. As much as he wanted to take a break, he couldn't afford to right now.

"Not now. I still need to go and inform Master Attendant of your concert date." He told her before gently placing his hand on her shoulder. "Maybe some other time, alright?"

Jello's grin turned into a pout as she placed her hands on her hips. Every time she planned something to do with Pudding, he would either take a raincheck or politely decline her. But not this time!

She placed her hand on his and gripped it. "Nope! Pudding, you're going to take a day off as well." She stated. Jello took his planner and set it back down on his desk. "You need the day off anyway. You look like you've been working yourself down to the bone. Haven't I told you before? Health comes first before work!" She nagged at him while dragging him towards the door.

Looking flustered, Pudding tried to resist and stand his ground. "Jello, I'm fine! I don't need to rest!" He pulled himself free from her grip and took a step back. "When you head out, make sure to wear a hat as well." Before he could turn around and pick up his planner, he heard Jello let out a sigh.

She had to pull out the big guns now. Jello grabbed hold of his sleeve and looked up at him, pulling her best puppy face.

"...That doesn't affect me, Jello." The dead-pan expression still on his face.

"Come on, Pudding! Just this once!" Jello grabbed his hand once again, but with a more gentle hold. "I promise you it'll be worth your time alright?"

As he fought with himself over the decision of staying back and doing his work or following Jello out, she stared up at him with her usual joyful grin. He came to a decision after a moment of pondering. "Alright... Just this once, let's go then." He said a small smile on his lips.

Jello's eyes brightened up as she jumped up in excitement, "Yay! I can't wait to spend the day with you, Pudding!"

'Maybe taking a break once in a while isn't so bad,' thought Pudding with a warm feeling in his cold heart as he followed Jello out.
