Shipping Problems (Spicy Gluten x Yellow Wine)

"Your wine tastes excellent as always,"

Spicy Gluten said after she took a few sips from a cup that Yellow Wine had handed to her.

"Hmph, of course, it tastes excellent." He scoffed with a smug smirk, "I made it after all."

An average passerby would be surprised to see these two food souls sitting comfortably together, discussing the topic of Yellow Wine's prized concoction. There wasn't a person or food soul alive (besides Jiuniang) who could discuss his creations and not get their heads bitten off, and it wasn't rocket science that Spicy Gluten and Yellow Wine were known for their strong personalities.

Yet the duo sat in peaceful silence at the back of the restaurant, until hushed whispers caught their attention.

Both food souls turned their heads to face the direction of the noise, "Look like Master Attendant is discussing something of importance with Pudding." Spicy Gluten commented as she took another sip of the wine. Indeed, the solemn young food soul was whispering urgently to their Master Attendant.

Yellow Wine nodded in agreement. The both of them kept their eyes on them until Yellow Wine seemed to think of something. Slowly, a sly grin crawled across his face. "Master Attendant and Pudding make a fine pair, don't they?"

Spicy Gluten eyes snapped towards him. Noticing his grin, she scoffed as she placed her cup down, making a small noise. The sound echoed throughout the room. "Nonsense. Our Attendant is better off paired with someone else," She growled.

At that moment, you turned your head in their direction and stared at them curiously, wondering what were they discussing. It must have been something good if Spicy Gluten got fired up.

"Boston Lobster would be a better partner. Something about our Master Attendant has changed him ever since he came here, it's no guess as to how he might feel towards them in the future." Noticing that she had accidentally attracted your attention, she waved a passive hello to you before reaching over for the wine bottle.

Yellow Wine lightly swatted her hand away from his wine bottle, pulling it closer to himself. "Are you kidding me? That arrogant crustacean?" He rolled his eyes in disdain."The Attendant is better suited with a guy who'll treat and take care of them til' the end of time!"

"Aaah, I get it." Spicy gluten smirked, running a slender finger along the rim of her glass. "So you do care a lot about our dear Master Attendant, you tsundere~!" Her voice lilted teasingly before she leaned in close to him, her hand wrapping around the neck of the wine bottle.

Spicy Gluten watched gleefully as his cheeks turn a light pink out of embarrassment. "Why so shy? I thought you were the 'Love Guru' amongst us food souls," she cooed. There was no mistaking how much she was enjoying this.

Right as she was about to pry the bottle away from him, Yellow Wine pulled it back towards himself. "That's not me! That's Coffee and Chocolate, and you know it!" He hissed. "I didn't give you permission to touch my wine either."

Before their small quarrel could continue, Coffee and Chocolate strode pass them. The two food souls eyed the other two glaring daggers at one another and walked on. "Told you they'd make a great pair.They even bicker like an old married couple too~!" Chocolate said, winking at Coffee.

"WE'RE NOT A COUPLE!"

"I wonder what they were talking about." Pudding heard you mumble to yourself as the both of you walked back into the kitchen.

"I do not know, Master Attendant. But it's best we do not pry too much into-" He was interrupted by a loud slam that came from the outside, followed by two loud yells.

You let out a sigh and rubbed your forehead, "Go and help Jello out in the dining room, I'm going to go and see what happened."
