Halloween Desserts (Napoleon x Reader)

(Happy almost Halloween guys :D. Sorry if updates are slow this week, but I have exams! I am now entering my final week of exams so things will return to normal soon enough!)

Standing in front of your kitchen's counter, you flipped through your small recipe book. "Hmm, maybe cupcakes and tarts are the way to go?"

Halloween was coming up, and you planned on holding a small Halloween party for the residents of Gloriville. You decided to leave the decorations up to your food souls while you worked on the treats for the party.

You had a big grin on your face as you pulled out a few big bags of flour, sugar, cartons of eggs, and several molds. You planned on making cupcakes and tarts with Halloween themed designs on them, but they will all come in different sizes and designs. Some could be designed after your food souls too!

As you measured out your ingredients, you failed to notice a pair of chocolate brown eyes peeking from one of the doorways of the kitchen.

"All done!" You said happily, pulling out a tray of cupcakes and tart shells from the oven with your oven mitts on. They came out just the way you wanted it too. Which is great or else you would have to make a whole new batch all over again.

But as you went to get the cupcakes, Napoleon Cake sneaked into the kitchen and hid behind the counter. He made sure he was low enough so his hat would be out of your view. When he heard you set the tray down, he acted fast and popped up from his hiding spot and snatched the bowl of melted chocolate that you had made in advance.

You let out a sharp gasp when you turned to see Napoleon Cake making a run for the kitchen entrance with your precious bowl in hand. "You're not going to get away this easily!" You cried out.

Having only a few seconds before he escaped, you grabbed one of the nearby metal trays, and like an action movie, you slid over the flour covered counter and landed in front of him. You had your arms spread out, and the tray was being used to help block Napoleon Cake's path. "Set the bowl down, and I might let you off easy,"

Napoleon Cake narrowed his eyes at you, holding the bowl close to himself. "I don't think that's fair, Master Attendant," he said as he took a step back. He waited patiently for this moment, and he was not going to let it go so easily. "You get to taste test all of these sweet treats as you waited for the cupcakes to bake! Wouldn't it be fair if I got a taste too?"

He stated as he dug the spoon into the melted chocolate and scooped up a big spoonful. Before you could tell him to stop, the spoon was already in his mouth. "Mmm! The chocolate's so good~," he said with a grin, "Milk chocolate, right?"

"Don't speak with your mouth full." You ignored his question and scolded him instead. You set the tray aside and pulled the bowl out of his arms. "I'll take that back now, you troublemaker!" Napoleon Cake pouted for a bit until he began licking the excess chocolate off of the spoon.

"So Master Attendant, what type of Halloween treats are you going to create?~" He eyed your recipe book and read what was on the pages. "Just cupcakes? Why not brownies? Ooo, I have a better idea. Why not cake pops?" he asked with an excited glint in his eyes.

You hummed in thought, that was a good idea, but it would be a lot of work for you and your food souls to pull off. "Cupcakes and tarts. That's it. Cake pops are too difficult to make, and a certain someone will eat it." You said and sent him a look.

Napoleon Cake had a proud grin on his lips, raising the spoon to his forehead in a salute. "Someone has to taste test those sweets." He tossed the spoon into the sink before leaning against the counter, now eyeing the cupcakes. "Are they done cooling?" Your eyes immediately landed on his lips, watching him lick them in anticipation.
