Shiraishi stood up in the boat and almost fell back from the wind.

"How long do we keep following this thing?" You asked, turning around to look at the Ainu stranger behind you.

"Until it weakens from the poison, it usually takes a day or two but if we're lucky it might beach itself!" The man said optimistically.

"Can I go home now?" Shiraishi asked with a whine. You smacked him upside the head. "You heard Asirpa! We have to get our fair share of the whale. If we don't, the consequences might be killer, whale I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't wanna get killed on porpoise just cause somebody kept blubbering about home! " Your voice laced with dread,  Shiraishi and Sugimoto have already been whacked with the sutu, you definitely don't wanna be next.

Asirpa and Sugimoto stood behind Henmi as he sat in front of a fire.

Henmi's PoV

I squat down in front of fire rubbing my hands together. A soldier and a little Ainu girl watch me closely as if they suspect me. Odd really. I don't think I've done anything to them?

"ahh so warm. That was a close one."  I mewled out, my voice a little shaky from the cold.

The soldier turned his head towards me, "You should warm your back up. It's a way to raise your body temperature. The Ainu call it... uh seturrrrrrr." He looked at the little girl for help

"Setur sesekka. " She finished for him.

"I- Is that so?" I hummed.

"Also, you'd better get out of those wet clothes." He looked down at me, his hat formed a shadow over his eyes and it made the request seem menacing.

"r-Really? Like, right here night now?" I asked, not wanting to show my tattoos when I just met the man.

"Aren't you going to take off your underwear too?" He chastised, catching me off guard.

I could've sworn I saw Shiraishi Yoshitake and (Y/N) (L/N) riding on that boat... This soldier is probably working with them.

I closed my eyes and faked a blush, "A-ah, how do I put this? I-it's kind of..."

"Embarrassing?" he finished for me. I nodded. He looked down at the little girl with squinted eyes

'N-no! I didn't make them more suspicious, did I?'

"Here, do you wanna use my blanket?" He asked, pulling out a white blanket from his knapsack.

I gladly take the blanket from his hands and wrap it around my body to start undressing. 'He's so nice! Could I be mistaken? No! I get this weird feeling when I'm around him.'

I sniffled a little bit, 'That scent, I'm sure of it. It's the scent of a killer .'

I look down with a shaky smile, 'Could he be the one? The one who is kind enough to brutally murder me? Like that monstrous boar did to my little brother?'

I flare up the blanket a bit letting warm air envelop my body, 'Maybe I should give in and show it to him here and now!' I wrap the blanket around myself tightly and shake a little, 'No no, I should fight and struggle to my last breath. Like my brother did. '
