This was requested by someone, but I forgot who. So, if you are that person, I'm sorry.
Hello, yes! I have not updated! Not that anyone said anything about it. But, school is a whore and leaves me with no time to the point where I literally start to die. Then again, when am I not dying? Please excuse the fact if I get a few things wrong due to me not playing destiny since the last I've updated... so a few months! Since it is spring break I have been getting more free time than expected. So, I decided to write a chapter or two for you guys instead of catching up on destiny. Anyway-the story begins!

Description: Well patrolling the EDZ, you encounter a Fallen Captain. But, it did not fire one shot at you. Instead, looked as if it was pleading with you to not kill it. You put your gun down and approach the fallen much to your ghosts resentment. What happens next OwO?

Warnings: Gore, yelling, death, swearing

I breathed heavily as I shot down the last of the Cabal surrounding me. Damn things are still trying to take over and conquer the universe despite Gaul falling. Each time they tried they brought new weapons with them. And guess who has to go down to collect them? Me. I looked around at the dead bodies to find one that wasn't as damaged as there others.
"I think that was the last one," (G/N) said. He/she hovered around looking for one that was still alive or a good gun. "Here, I found one!"
"Nice," I said and picked up the gun. "Heavier than expected."
My ghost flew and scanned around the weapon, looking to see how it worked. "I'll transport it back to Zavala." Then the weight was lifted.
"Well! That was fun!" I exclaimed and clapped my hands together.
"Only you will find this fun."
Cracking from the coms then filled my ears.
"Good Job, Guardian," Zavala said. "These new Cabal tec seems to get more complex each time."
"And more dangerous!" (G/N) said.
" Let's hope they don't fall into the wrong hands. Or get more dangerous to the point where they have a chance to get back at us, " Zavala said.
"Agreed, " I said. "Can't imagine what would happen if that were to happen."
"If it does, I will have faith in you two, " He said.
"You can always count on us, " (G/N) mentioned.
"I sure hope so, I will have to leave for now. I have to speak with Ikora about this, " and with that Zavala left.
"It's always nice talking with him, " I breathed.
"Mhm, " (G/N) said. "Fallen on the horizon. Only a captain."
"Cool, let's go," I said, hopping onto my sparrow.
In about 30 seconds I was about 15 yards away from the Captain. As I for off my sparrow and braced for the impact of a gun or sword or something. But, the pain never came. I aimed at the Captain, thinking maybe it hasn't noticed me. Instead, it was looking straight at me.
I pressed down on the trigger, but not enough for my gun to go off. Each second I was ready to fire, but I didn't want to. I stood like this for a minute or two, neither of us moved.
"What are you doing?" (G/N) asked.
"I'm... I'm not sure, " I breathed. I lowered my gun and got a good look at the Captain. It seemed to let out a sigh of relief.
"Shoot it!" He/she demanded.
I ignored (G/N) pleads and unconsciously approached the fallen. At this point, I knew it was alive. I knew it saw me. I knew it wasn't going to shoot me. Once I was about a yard away with (G/N) still yelling at me, we just stood in silence. Neither of us knew what to do, we were supposed to be enemies.
"Hey, (G/N)?" I pondered. "Cant you speak Fallen?"
"Yeah..." he said questingly. "You don't actually want to speak to this thin, do you?"
"Translate; 'my name is (Y/N). What is yours?' please." I demanded, and my ghost did it without questioning.
(Okay, so a destiny fan, probably a Warlock, translated about 87 words from fallen in English. But, I am going to just use Italics for now when speaking in Fallen.)
"Her name is (Y/N). What is yours?" (G/N) said.
With moments of hesitating, it responded. "My name is Deja. Why have you yet to kill me?"
(G/N) translated it back to me, and I responded.
"I am not sure. When you didn't move, I guess I hesitated." I said.
"I'm glad you didn't. I do not care for killing. It never brings anything good."
"I wish I could say the same, it has become too accustomed to me. I guess I never really thought about it."
"Because that's what you've been trained to do. Along with me."
"Did you get a choice? Because we really didn't."
"No, not really."
"What do you-" I screamed in agony, I had just gotten hit by a dreg. Before I could respond, Deja had screeched at the dreg violently. I was scooped into the Captains arms, which was oddly made me feel safe. He took me into a building and placed me down. Despite being healed already, deep down I wished they kept me in their arms.
"Okay, I knew it was fishy when you two started talking. But this just went to a whole new level. If one of the other Guardians or a Vanguard found out about this, they'll have your head!" (G/N) complained.
"I know, I know..." I said. "I don't know how to feel about this either. Let's just keep this on the low."

~Deja The Captains POV~

What is so special about this Guardian? Why did I save him/her? Why didn't I kill them? I can't let anyone know about this. When the low-life dreg hit him/her, why did I react like that? I'm a Fallen Captain. She's a Guardian Warlock/Hunter/Titan. We're supposed to kill each other. But who could kill anything that Beautiful? I have so many questions. I just wanted to take (Y/N) into my arms and forget about this ordeal to be over. Wait, what did I just say?
Both seemed to be in the midst of a conversation, but I couldn't understand what they were saying. I looked down to him/her and noticed that she/he was already healed. I was always curious to see how that worked. I would imagine it's the little box that translated out conversation.
"How have you healed already?" I questioned.
The box thing spoke before (Y/N)'s soft voice could speak. "Well, I'm her ghost. I use the light to heal and resurrect her. Without me, she might die."
I hated the thought of death, now especially if it was him/her. They're my only friend. I looked at her/his 'wound' was. I felt around to see if there was anything was there. I was scared I was going to hurt (Y/N). After I felt nothing and seeing she didn't flinch, I gave up. I was actually glad it was healed over.
"Interesting..." I said. Once again the little box translated our talk. I enjoyed talking to (Y/N). I just hope she could say the same.

~No ones POV~

Deja and (Y/N) talked for hours but for the both of them, it only felt like a few minutes. Pretty soon, it got dark. Much to their dismay.
"(Y/N), it is getting pretty dark, " (G/N) said. "we should get going before anyone starts to wonder where you were."
"That's probably what we should do, " (Y/N) says solemnly. "Well, this is goodbye, Deja. I hope to see you again!"
(G/N) translated it into fallen speak.
"Goodbye. I also hope to see you again. I had a nice time talking with you." Deja hopped that (Y/N) didn't hear the sadness in their voice, oblivious to her/his sadness. They stood in silence before (Y/N) turned to walk and waved what hopefully wasn't their final goodbye.
(Y/N) started the process to transport herself into her ship, but she felt a hand on her/his wrist and was wiped around and felt pressure on her lips. Much to her surprise, it was Deja that had kissed her. After a second or two of processing what was going on, she kissed back.
(Y/N) felt the sensation of being transported into her ship along with something being shoved into her hand by the Captain.
It wasn't until she/he was in her/his ship that she looked down to her hand to see what Deja had placed in her hand.It was a little piece of fabric, about the size of a handkerchief, with the fallen symbol on it.
"Okay, WHAT WAS THAT?!" Her/His Ghost screamed.
"Once again, I don't know, " (Y/N) responded. "We won't speak of this with anyone else. But, I think I'm in love with the enemy."
"He's a Fallen! You're a guardian!"
"Yeah, I know."
"You two- you know what? It's your life, you love, I should respect that. But, it does not mean I approve."
"Thank you."
(Y/N) looked back down to the fabric in her hands and signed. She/he then put her head back and thought of her new lover.
