amelia had been spending a lot of time in the library, reading and going through anything that had to do with tom riddle. she was fascinated.
she even went to the room of requirement several times to see if she could gather any more photos of tom and thalia from their time at hogwarts.
she had found one that seemed to be a photo taken by tom of thalia down in hogsmeade. she was beautiful.
day by day, thalia was growing more interested in the strange couple but there was nobody to turn to to ask questions. nobody spoke of the dark lord.
"we meet again," draco malfoy said as he walked towards the back of the room of requirement.
he noticed how amelia was wearing a short black skirt, not concealing much as she was bent over a desk reading. he wasn't complaining.
amelia slowly turned from her position catching draco casually eating an apple as he watched what she was doing.
"why might you be in here?" he asked.
"reading."
draco scoffed, "if you're going to waste your time reading, why not go to the library, jade? why read in the room of requirement. seems suspicious."
amelia rolled her eyes, "if you must know, i'm trying to research someone and found the room of requirement would be useful in gathering my information, thank you very much."
draco walked towards the desk she was stood by, trying to glance at what she was reading. but she was too quick and shut the book before he could see the page she was eyeing.
"you know," draco circled amelia, "if you're gonna be bending over desks like that you should really get a longer skirt."
amelia's eyes widened as she pat down the back of her skirt, adjusting the short length.
draco winked as he began walking towards the exit, "just a thought amelia jade, just a thought."

draco found himself dumbfounded at the brunette girl he couldn't seem to stop running into. it seemed to be an occurrence that happened every year at hogwarts though, but this year was different.
being a death eater meant that draco had the responsibility of his parents, professor snape, and lord voldemort on his back, at all times.
he was given several tasks, his main task being to watch out for a fifth or sixth year slytherin that could possibly be the dark lord's heir.
the dark lord made it clear he wanted his heir, but the circumstances made it quite difficult. the mother of his child was now dead, no thanks to him, and she left no sign of his bloodline behind for him to access.
