draco malfoy was sat in the slytherin common room when amelia rushed through the door.
"well, what happened?"
"my mother is dead, my father is a murderer, and i have no family left," amelia laughed, "so basically, i'm fucked."
draco didn't know what to do, did he comfort her? she didn't seem upset anymore, more so relieved.
"i think- no. i know. i want to meet my father."
draco could feel his breathe hitch in his throat, that was the last thing he thought would come out of amelia's mouth.
"um," the blonde haired boy didn't know how to respond. was this for the better?
"he's all i have, draco." amelia felt exhausted. she honestly didn't care about the repercussions of meeting tom riddle. he was her only family left, she needed some sort of closure.
"i don't think that's the best idea," draco felt like he was treading on thin ice. "without a doubt, not a good idea."
amelia knew that draco was right, she knew that she was mental for wanting to meet her father. he killed her mother, he tried to kill harry potter and succeeded in killing his parents- he succeeded in killing many people for that matter. but at this point in her life amelia was desperate for some sort of family member in her life, no matter how unconventional they were.
"you're a death eater, draco," amelia raised the sleeve of his jumper, "you're the only one i know who can get me to him."
"amelia, he's been looking for you," draco admitted, "i really don't have a good feeling about this. he's wanted you, he wanted to make sure you continue his destruction. is that what you want?"
amelia felt herself heavily sigh, "i don't know what i want, draco. i do know that i want to speak with him."
draco felt like he was between a rock and a hard place. his task was to bring voldemort's daughter to the death eaters, but did he want to bring his love to voldemort? he knew that nothing but bad would result from this. but it's what she wanted.
"i don't want to involve myself in this, amelia," draco explained. "if you become- if you become something unimaginable, i don't want to live with that guilt."
"you don't need to be involved in this draco! i just need you to bring me to him." amelia was practically yelling, she felt her heart pounding in her chest as she stared at a wide eyed draco.
"i- it's not that easy. if i were to make an effort to contact him right now, it would be a large event, amelia. it wouldn't just be the dark lord, it would be my father, rowle, many death eaters, do you understand?"
amelia nodded her head, "but-"
"listen. there's a meeting to be held at the manor. january eleventh. voldemort usually arrives at the manor a day or two prior, that would be your best bet. the safest bet, amelia."
